Depends on what you mean by the part that goes to the cold air intake.

Usually a sealed can is used when it goes back to the ypipe or you could be drawing in unmetered air.
There are only 2 things needed to make an Audi work properly - Duct tape and WD40. If it moves and it shouldn't - Duct tape. If it doesn’t move and it should - WD40.

I meant connect hose from oil catchcan to intake pipe right before the turbo.

If in front of the maf, prob not ideal due to stuff contaminating the sensor.
If behind the maf, it will be able to draw unmetered air through the filter on the catch can.

My line will be after sensor. This is my plan 50-60% clean air through filter and 30-50% from oil catch can! Boosted engine should create vacuum in oil catch can which should help lower crankcase pressure and valve cover.

Unmeterd air is a bad thing.

You might be able to put something like a ping pong ball inside the filter to stop this.
Under normal vac, it would be sealed. If excessive psi builds, it would let it vta.

Looks like a nice piece, but seems like it should be rotated 180deg to me?

How was your previous PCV system setup. I'm wondering if my catch tank setup will be good and not cause any issues. I'll be able to show pics soon.

No, that way is correct. The Venturi effect.

OP, You should either just vent to atmosphere or just put a line back to the intake past the MAF. Your lines to the catch can are really. really long, and the placement out in front will keep the separator cool which may not function as well in colder weather and with short runs (based on your sick build that probably does not matter). Have you considered just moving the can just behind the secondary firewall?

That venturi diagram looks correct for one with the whistle style slot in the side. If it was just a angle cut then it would be better to be rotated 180 and more vertical.

After little over a week and I drained my oil catch can. First was water and then milky oil, all together was about 20-25% liquid in my oil catch can.

You see that nasty crap in the pics? You want that in your oil pan?

Damn that is a lot for just one week! Hard to tell from pics but how many oz do you think you built up over that short period of time?

I don't know how many oz but most of it was water 65-70% and 30-35% of milky. It was less than one third of it. Vacuum line is not connected yet that's could be and I think to install another separator for vacuum line. I don't want this carp in my turbo and intake piping.

Ok just ordered this! I think connect another line to intake manifold with check valve! That way I can stop that stinky oil burn smell in my car at idle.

That thing may be too small to do much.

When they say stuff like 1/4" npt and 3/8" fittings, seems a bit on the small side to me.

That's what I was thinking. Isn't the consensus to run 5/8" hose?

5/8 is what I use. Nice to be able to reuse the connectors.

That's my plan. Picked up an extra spider hose.

OP what size line are you using. Did you decide on how to route things and where you were going to put your separator?
