Differences between older and newer year model Audi A3 8P?

I am in the market for an Audi A3 and I would like to know what are the differences / updates from the 2006 model to the 2013 model in USA.

As far as I can tell, the headlights and tail lights are updated. If I were to buy an older 2006 a3, would I be able to swap the headlights and tail light from the newer model with out having to change out anything else?

Entire front end is different, bumper, grill, hood, headlights and fenders.

Back end has a different bumper and tailights, only the tailgihts can be swapped to the pre-facelift models along with some coding for the lights to display properly.

One thing to note about the early A3's the 2.0L were bad for cam followers failing, if you are trying to find one go for the 2008.5 and up.
