Textar are OEM, I have used them. It's just like the stock ones.

I just put in the Textars. Realize that any "dustless" pad is going to have crappy intial brake torque. I've used Textars in the past and found that while they do dust, they dust less than the OEM pads. The dust isn't corrosive and easily wipes off with a wet rag/sponge while washing the car.

Totally worth it to have a set of brake pads that feel like they'll actually stop the car. Oh yeah, they're also quiet.

textar makes excellent pads. they are one of porsche oem suppliers. I ran them on my m3 and was very impressed with the amount of bite in them. I'd buy them again

They're an OE supplier without the OE price tag. Nothing to worry about - they're solid.

Do they fit like stock? Reason I ask is, I've had cross drilled slotted rotors before, and if the pads are not an exact fit, they make a clicking noise when just driving around. Drove me so nuts, I sold the car and bought an audi.
    Happy ending

That shouldn't ever happen unless your caliper pad retaining clips were bad.

No issues with pad fitment here.

Mine make a squeaking noise when I turn the wheel. I most likely reversed the retaining clip, sadly I am too lazy to fix it.

It looks like TRW is the OE supplier, not Textar. Unless this is an incorrect image on the ecstuning website.

Why don't people recommend genuine audi parts.com
Are they god to deal with.
Seems like they have cheaper prices than the dealership for Oem parts.

OEM pads from genuine audi parts were a little over $100 for the set. I got ECS slotted rotors and textar pads from my local shop for around $300 combined. Spent around 1.5 hours installing them myself in my garage.
