My Terrible morning. (I hate semi trucks)

Today driving to work on i65 north in Indiana. I had a semi truck (company named swift). Merge into the fast lane in front of me. I was going 70mph the speed limit and he was going under that (maybe 65). So I turn off my cruise and apply light braking. Suddenly his driver side rear tire decides to commit suicide and throw it's steel treads and tire up at my freshly cleaned A6 at super sonic speeds. It slams into the top of my grill and flips onto my hood denting my hood. Then tumbles into my windscreen cracking my windshield. The entire windscreen flexed when this happened. I am glad it held up and didn't shatter. (Horray german glass!) So here I am filing a claim with progressive my insurance company for 3 years. I'll keep the thread updated with my results for science and research.

Semi truck drivers are my arch nemesis. I hate them, when I am on my bikes as well they are sketchy. They have NO care for the drivers on the road.

These companies have insurance for this reason... did you get any info off the truck? Tag? DOT# or anything? Not sure what all is involved in filing but I think you need to know the location etc too. Swift is a fairly large company.
