Morimoto LED Fog Lights - anyone use them?

They are a new product with The Retrofit Source, but they seem to be a good option for anyone who wanted to use projectors in their fogs. I bet it wouldn't require too much trimming or fabrication to get these to fit.

Has anyone looked at these? or plan on using these?

    Yeah, I know... necro bump.

But the OP is the same question I have, sooo...

Here's an updated link to the LED fog lights: https://www.theretrofitsource.com/co...to-xb-led.html
I haven't measured the factory fog light housings, but these Morimoto fog lights look to have shorter housings. Perhaps they could be a good solution for those with FMIC piping.

    Any users out there?

Be advised...that in line resistor gets HOT. Like melt plastic hot. Ensure you take this into account when mounting it.

Looks like the fogs themself will require some fabrication to fit the B6. Can't wait to see how they look.

Wonder if this is a stock problem for new cars.

Because I believe some new cars get LED fogs stock now, including BMW and Audi.

Not a problem, the resistor is just resisting the 12V and one of the laws of thermodynamics informs us that energy does not disappear, it just changes form...to heat in this case.

New cars prob do not feed 12V DC to the LEDs, or have LEDs designed for 12V DC
