    Exclamation ** New Member... 2003 Audi B6 A4 1.8T APR Stage 2+!! **

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Hi guys. Just joined the forum and wanted to share my rides. I've had several Audi's in the past and currently have a 2003 Audi B6 A4 1.8T that is APR Stage 2+ Tuned as my daily driver.

My introduction and history of cars:

I started off with a brand new 2000 Integra GS-R when I was 17. Loved it. Honda's were the sh*t when I was in High School.

Long story short, I ended up fully building the internals, huge turbo setup, custom everything and was pushing 500wHP in a 2600lbs car and a FWD layout. Torque steer was insane. No grip in the first 3 gears but on the highway, it was intense.

Then got a brand new 2005 BMW E46 ///M3. Amazing car. Fell in love with BMW's and euros. Tuned with several mods.

Sold it and got a 2004 Mercedes E55 AMG. Modded it and had fun for a few months. Had to get rid of it for personal reasons at the time. Didn't even have it long enough to take pictures but I did make a video which I saved and had. So glad I did.

    http://youtu.be/yhQga6BMowQ

    Then I picked up a 2006 BMW E60 ///M5. V10 EVOLVE Alpha-N Tuned with some mods.

Video of some friendly runs against my buddies Audi B5 A4 Stage 1+ Tuned V6 Bi-Turbo.

    http://youtu.be/FLS3V_dptWc

After I purchased the ///M5, I started missing the Mercedes and my wife needed a new car... so we bought a brand new 2013 Mercedes C250 Sports.

Great little car. Surprisingly quick and torquey! This car drives like it's on glass. Incredibly silky. Love it. Wife wanted the C63 AMG but told her it was too fast for her. She just liked the Quad exhaust tips and the sound when the engine roared on start up. She doesn't care too much about speed, so it would've been an overkill.

I also missed the classic E-series body so I just picked up this 2007 Mercedes E350 in Platinum Blue Metallic a few weeks ago. Fantastic car. Great family car and cruiser.

Then I bought another BMW but this time a Twin Turbo. Got a ride in a friend's Tuned 335i with Meth and that thing PULLED!! Wanted one afterwards, so I picked up a 2007 BMW E92 335i Coupe 6-speed Manual. Got it tuned w/ PROcede Rev 3 V5 tune, PWM Meth Kit, DCI's, Forge DV's, etc. Car was a beast. You can't beat turbo'd cars when you talk about tuning. The amount of power and torque gains is insane. Boost felt incredible.

BUT... it had tons of problems. Long story short, the pulley hit the subframe of the car, causing the belt to come off and shred. Wrapped around the crank causing crankshaft seals to blow, oil filter housing gasket, valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, etc. Even replacing all that, the leak wouldn't go away. Took the car back completely to stock and got rid of it. It was a nightmare. Those 2007's are problematic. I should have known never to get a first year production car.

Well... not too long ago, I sold the ///M5 and just picked up this bad boy.

2011 Nissan GT-R Premium in Gunmetallic.

Only mod currently is an AAM Competition 3.5" Mid-Pipes.
Future mods: FBO, ECUTek Tune and E85.

This car is something else. It is ridiculous how fast it is. A friend of mine brought out his GTech and we did a few test runs and even on the first try, I was able to hit 0-60 in 3.1 seconds and the 1/4 in 11.0 flat. Not sure how accurate the GTech is but they say it's very close to what you'd run at the track and the times were pretty much what magazines stated. Either way, It's definitely a monster but after the tune and E85, it should absolutely FLY! GT-R guys on the forum tell me it will do 0-60 in mid 2 seconds and the 1/4 in mid to low 10's. Rolling races wouldn't be a problem either since it will keep pulling in any gear, any RPM with seamless shifts. Can't wait.

Anyways, I look forward to participate on the forums here. Audizine is a fantastic forum.

I love and respect all cars. Doesn't matter what brand because they all have their pro's and con's. I've had several BMW's, Mercedes, Audi's, JDM cars, Muscle cars, etc. I believe we can all co-exist and appreciate all the varieties of cars and manufacturers.

Yea it is. Actually, I might trade the A4 for an Xterra today from a local guy. In need of a bigger car for my growing family.

It was fun while it lasted.

Damn. Lots of great cars. That first white M3 was amazingly clean. I don't know how the A4 even made it on this roster. It's like having Flava Flav play for the old Miami Heat and everyone would be like, what the hell?

Thank you for gracing us with your presence. Are you planning on using that A4 to haul trash to the dump or something? Maybe a hand-me-down to your 16 year old?

Just kidding. Nice rides. I kind of hate you.

    Thanks guys.

I've always had a "beater" or daily driver to help the garage queens stay clean, low miles, flawless interior/body/paint and overall in showroom floor quality.

Garage queens are cars such as the M3, M5, E55 AMG, GT-R and so forth.

Daily drivers were Honda Accords, BMW 530i's, Audi A4's, Nissan Maximas, Mercedes C250 and E350... and now a Nissan Xterra which I added yesterday.

While it's nice to have fast expensive cars... it also comes with many cons such as high maintenance costs, constantly worrying about where you park and door dings, scratches, people eyeing you, etc. It's great to hop in your daily driver and not have to worry if you scrape your bumper, park close next to a car at the theater or the mall, cheap and easy maintenance, etc.

Two of my absolute favorite daily drivers till this date were:

    2007 Audi B7 A4 2.0T Quattro. 6-speed manual

Loved the way it looked. The AWD 2.0T with 6-speed transmission was fun to drive.

    2003 BMW 530i

This car was my favorite. The build quality of this generation BMW was absolutely fantastic. Interior was plush and EXTREMELY comfortable to drive. I miss it a lot. Thought about picking one up again but maintenance was too expensive. This was my DD when I had the M5 and even then, I actually enjoyed driving this 530i more than the M5 3 out of 5 times.

lol that's funny. My neighbors say the same thing because they see me go through so many cars. I work at the hospital as a clinic manager. Owning a used car dealership would be more fun tho.

Also you said you have 4-5 garage queens cars. Then you have an A4 as a daily and the exterra. Possibly other cars here. That neighbourhood looks to me like the garages maybe hold 2 cars?

Not calling you out, just seems weird!

Those were previous "garage queens" he was referring to. I believe he only has one at a time; although still a goofy thread..

I'm sitting here watching training day. So.. you can imagine the thought that came to my mind when I was thinking about what his job must be.
