Car wash in Washington DC near AU

Hey guys I'm in AU student and this year I brought my car down from New York to American University and I was wondering what places nearby are recommended for getting my car washed. I would prefer a self car wash, seeing as I don't trust other people and to save money, but I'm open to HAND car washed as well. My ZIP Code is 20016 and I live on campus at American University. Please let me know thanks.

I don't know of any self wash bays in DC but I go to Flagship in Rockville whenever I'm too lazy to wash my car at home.

Thanks for the referral. I'm looking for one a bit closer, since thats about a 30 minute drive for me. Any other recommendations?

I don't think you'll find a self wash in that area. I was an AU student last year and found it difficult to find a place that wouldn't jack my car up. Montgomery mall has a dry wash in the parking garage

There is a hand wash in Arlington, but I don't know the name (always wash my own car). It has good reviews, though. Arlington is just across the bridge into Virginia from AU. Pretty easy to get to.

There's a car wash on Connecticut avenue by the Zoo if I recall correctly which isn't far from AU. You'll have to google it of course though. It's hand washed. I've never used it, I just know it's there.
    I drive a truck now.

May just have to find a mobile wash/detailer if you're not willing to drive too far.

Getting back to everyone because I know this is an old thread, I've been using EcoSmart RU Waterless Wash & Wax by Chemical Guys. Its surprisingly great, does the job for exactly what I want, and I can do it in a public garage out of a spray bottle and some microfiber towels. Although its probably not recommended, I've been using it on the wheels too simply to get the grime off. I use a separate microfiber towel specific for my wheels so I don't bring that crap onto my paint, but regardless, I'd recommend it to anyone in my situation OR if you're looking to give your car a quick spray and wipe down after a detailed wash and maintain that clean look for much longer.

Capitol Shine. They do work out of Courthouse and a parking garage just across the street from DARPA and the mall. Never used them but I see them in there all the time.

I used KP Touch in Ballston earlier this year and was satisfied with their service. They did a pretty good job cleaning the exterior and interior.
