BBS spline lug bolts?

Hey guys,

I'm looking to get BBS CH R wheels for my car instead of the BC Forged - you know, keep it simple. However, I would like to make the small details counts.

Are the usable on our cars?

What else is available that is similar?

Well, Audis use bolts, not nuts, so you are correct, they won't work.

You *could* do a conversion (I'm considering it), but I don't know what disadvantages it brings (one major advantage is the ability to easily take off and replace the wheel without a *!$%# guide bolt).

I see that these are bolts vs. nuts, bummer. To finish off the look of the wheel properly, I think I'll give this a shot though. It's the little details that count, right?

Now, what is involved in a conversion? I see Audi bolts are 14x1.5 and these nuts (deez nutz) are 12x1.5 thread pitch.

I should hear back from my BBS connect about these tomorrow. You can certainly do the conversion, but I'm not familiar. I would imagine you could get a thick "decal" kinda like a center cap to pop of the bolts heads? I would be really bugged if I could not get the logos to match, but I guess they might if you started them out in the same position.

You would need to get conversion studs that convert the M14x1.5 to the smaller M12x1.5 and then you can use these. Once you've gone to M12x1.5 you've opened up your selection to lug nuts as most tuner lugs are M12x1.5.

I ordered some Project Kics R40 Iconix I plan on swapping on to my F31.


Oh and those BBS ones are made by McGard and cost a fraction for the same without the BBS logo.

Looks like these can be had in thread pitch 14x1.5 so no shrinking down to 12mm needed. That makes me feel a little better about ordering studs.

I been meaning to install it, but it didn't look right on my current wheel setup.
