    :: ECS Tuning :: NEW!! B8 S4 Alzor Style 349 Wheels

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!

Your B8 S4 features highly individualized design elements that make successfully complementing the vehicle with aftermarket wheels a serious challenge.

The Alzor Style 349 features a split-spoke design that accentuates rather than distracts from the Audi's natural steel musculature.

19" square or staggered sets of four wheels are available, finished in hyper silver or matte black. Designed to bolt right up to your car, the 349 fits perfectly without modification.

Bought 4 alzor for my previous car, one was not straight and one was unbalanceable without vibrations on the highway.

I did not send it back to ecs tuning since being in canada, duties and shipping back would have been counter productive giving the price of the set.

For those in the states, the good service from Ecs will probably be fine. Make sure you inspect them properly before mounting them. Other that's those issue, the wheels were fine.

Am I reading that right? $500 for a set of 4? Is this one of those "you get what you pay for" situations? And I would also like to see a side shot of the 9.5s for concavity.

Lots of people here have run the ECS Alzor 18 inch "rotor" wheel for winters...retailed for ~$400. I'm sure they can chime in about performance.

I bought a set of the 18s for winter wheels. Good quality for $400 and I don't care if they get beat up in the winter weather. Also bought some ebay black audi center cap stickers to try out over the Alzor cap. Haven't had them on the car yet.

Here is a side shot of the 9.5's

FYI we have tons of pictures of these wheels installed on our website. Just click the link at the top and then choose the size you want to see and there's at least 15 different install pics both in black and silver.

    19X9.5's are 24lbs each.

It honestly depends on the kit. Which caliper would the kit utilize, what's the offset of the rotor hat? These are things I would need to know before I can give you an answer.

Would these clear an S4 with RS5 BBK? Also would it sit slightly inside of the fenders so it would not cause rubbing? Thanks.

What size are you referring to? We've never tested these with an RS5 BBK so questions like this are hard to answer. Again for the fender rubbing - questions like this have many variables. Tire size/stretch, ride height, wheel offset etc. I simply cannot answer these questions unless I have a lot of specific information.

We have a bunch more pics under the black wheels 19X9.5 if you click on the product landing page in the link in the first post.

Right now I am running an OEM RS4 wheel that is 19x8.5 ET 43 with Michelin PSS. The wheel clears the BBK and sits slightly on the inside of the fender which is fine with me as this is a daily driver that needs to accommodate 4 passengers without rubbing. I want the same fit for an aftermarket alloy. I plan to run Nokian Hakka R2's or Dunlop 4D's at 255/35R19.

I wanted to know if these wheels or any Alzor's could fit the same. Here is a pic of how the wheels sit now:

You should be fine using 19x8.5 Alzor 349's with 35mm offset. Worst case scenario you'd need a thin wheel spacer to clear the caliper. But as I mentioned before since we haven't physically fit them up with a RS5 BBK we can't know for sure.

The ET35 should still also fit within the fender as well as the 19.X9.5s with 40mm offset. As shown in the pictures I've posted.

We used a 235/35/19 tire with the 9.5s in our pictures though.

Do these pictures include any spacers?

I was thinking 19x9.5 ET40 would be the best fit at stock height, I just want it to be more flush with the fenders. Would I need spacers to do that?

CaptSlow those are what I got at stock height and I feel the fit on them is perfect with no spacers. This is just a quick shot I took the other day after getting the tint done. Plan on doing some better pictures soon though.

Very tempting to swap these as winter wheels, much nicer than the OEM blaw ones.

Only crappy part is the shipping to Canada

These are pictured without spacers. You can always check out the complete line of Alzor wheels in the link below for the B8 S4. If we used or found spacers to be necessary on any of the wheels you'll see it noted in red. Be sure to check back from time to time as this brand is always growing.

Are these low pressure cast? Same as the Avant Garde whee;s? I was reading that some manufacturers like VMR use gravity casting which might be weaker as the miles grow.

Also, will the Audi center caps fit on these?

All of our Alzor wheels are low pressure cast. I'd have to do some more digging on the casting process Avant Garde using. But if I had to guess I'd assume they are low pressure cast as well. For most aftermarket wheels this is the preferred method.

As far as Audi caps, we don't have any confirmation of exactly which caps fit which wheels. Many customers go the vinyl sticker route. Seems to be less expensive as well.

Just noticed today that the majority of the 18" alzor wheels that were selling for 399 went up to 499. Is this long term pricing or something temporary? Paying 25% extra is a significant amount.
