Hi! Yesterday i found my key in the washer. So i dried it out and tried it. The key and starter chip works. But the wireless remote doesn't.

I have 2 spare keys at home from another car. ( got them when i bought a used ccm )

Can i configure one of the remotes to my car? And will i need vcds?

    Please help me.

What about replacing the battery? Maybe checking to see if the battery connections are still on the board in the key fob?

you should be able to take one of your spare keys and swap over the internal circuit board on the key to the key that went thru the washer, just make sure you keep your immobilizer chip from your old key. Then just follow the door lock programming from one of the DIY's on here to reprogram the fob like this one...

I recently changed my battery and thought m FOB was dead... followed OG's advice and put the key in the ignition, turned the key to on (but did not start), then hit the lock button. Probably not the same issue as yours, but worth a try!

Last summer I walked into the Gulf of Mexico with my key in my pocket. The red panic button cover is missing from my fob, so... immediate salt water bath. Like OP, I was able to open the car and start the engine with the key. Remote was not functioning.

By the next day it was working. This was after I disassembled the fob, removed the now-dead batteries, washed the salt out with clean water, let it dry overnight, put new batteries in and resynced using the procedure below.

    Remote Control Synchronization
    - Press any button on remote
    - Within 30 seconds, use KEY to lock and unlock
    - Insert key in ignition
    - Turn to ON
    - Remove key
    - Press any button on remote

NOTE: I have no original source for the above procedure, but I found it posted on an Audi site. I've tried multiple procedures. This one works for my 2003.

the chip that's really important in the key fob is the immobilizer; that's the one that tells the car that it should run. the remote function is the only one you can program yourself

I programmed my keys myself, immobilizer and all...

Before you put a new battery in, did you take the key apart and make sure everything was dry? Also, you may need VCDS to get the FOBs to work, you may not. If you try the methods outlined above and they don't work, you'll need VCDS.
