Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Hey, anyone know for sure which relay is the fuel pump relay and the correct location? I ordered a new from JHM along with a new crank pos sensor. The relay I received is labeled 167, is med gray and has 4 prongs. Thanks

Are you referring to the fuel filter?

The B6 Fuel Filter is a 4-pronged like canister. It's located just below right rear passenger door.

Get on floor and look up, it's held in place by a holder and bolt with two sender/two return lines.

Lol no, the fuel pump relay. It's located somewhere under the drivers side dash knee panel, but I'm not sure which relay.

i thought fuel pump relay was "614". and if i am correct then it's under the dash board right about where your left knee is. it's the far left one.
take the side fuse box cover off, take the lower dash out then unscrew the side fuse box and then you can access the fuel pump relay. pretty easy job.

as for CPS it's on transmission bell housing. about 10 o'clock position. right next to driver side pre-cat.

Yeah I thought it was the 614 labeled relay as well, but when I removed it the prongs were different.

If you want me to get under the dash of mine and take a pic, its Paypal, $130/hr

I will translate for you...It takes me a minute with DAS German diagrams and I use em all the time...J17 is your relay in the diagram, so you go to the small window and you see the relay marked '1'. If you read the listing to the left you see that #1 is J17, which is the relay...fewwwww! There you go.
