RS4 style grille for B8 - best quality vendor?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I want to buy an RS4 style front grille for my B8 with gloss black mesh and silver aluminum trim/surround.

Which vendor has the highest quality grille? I have looked at ECS, LL Tek and eBay but they all look the same

That is because they are all the same......All of them made in China. ECS will probably give you better service but ebay will be cheaper.

im intrested in this as well. I like the honey comb look of the RS4 grill it looks more aggressive. I want to get a grill as well. But i have heard the real RS4 wont fit unless you get a bumper as well. Lets hear what people have and their opinions on it

The aftermarket grilles are plenty strong and of good quality, you wont gain anything trying to find a better quality one and paying more money.

The most recent vendor to post one in the s4 section was very specific about saying theirs is the best fitting... 299. Any merit to this?

I installed by ECS grill just recently. wasn't really happy with the quality or fit, but as someone else mentioned, its seems they are all the same and that ECS will provide you with better service. I think that's a fair statement

I wish I could find one that has the proper smaller type mesh inside of the Audi rings like the real RS4 grill has, but doesn't seem there are any for the B8.5 that have that, unless someone knows of one?

A couple of the eBay ones show it in their stock photos, but I doubt they actually have it based on some of the actual installed photos a couple of the listings have. Have only seen B8 versions with the small inner mesh inside the rings for some reason.

Oh and that's also discounting the one guy on eBay selling B8.5 RS4 Audi original gunmetal grills from Germany, but he want's ~$1200 a pop.

they desperately need a new version, preferably with the front of the mesh painted gunmetal and the smaller black honeycomb inside the Audi rings.

I'm trying to find the same thing currently. I've emailed a few places to see if they sell them separately. I will let you know if I find one, let me know if you do too.
