Thoughts on Ice Silver metallic

Just want peoples opinions on the Ice Silver Metallic. From pictures it looks kinda bland. But theres a 2013 S5 near me that is a great deal and its Ice Silver.

Ya i have looked up a ton of pictures of the ice silver with different wheels and so on. I have gunmetal grey forgestar f14s that were on my a5. Just not sure that would be enough of a difference with that color. The monsoon and Glacier white look fantastic in my opinion.

Get the ice silver !!! With mods it look great .. Especially with the carbon lip from deval.

I'm not a big silver guy, but I was very tempted to order one. I think it shows off the lines of the S5 really well and makes the car look wide and low. My problem is I have a love/hate relationship with black cars

Jim, I have the same love hate with black. But i just cant do it again. To much damn time and then 5 second later its dirty again. Good point on the easy to maintain Mops, that was one of the main reasons that drew me to the Ice silver. Does anyone have good pics of Ice silver with mods done to it. Im not a fan of the chrome on the s5. So first thing would be to black out the window trim and the grill.

Not a 5, but here is what my S4 looked like in Ice Silver with wheels finished in a matte titanium for reference. It can be a tough color to capture in photos as you don't get much contrast with background. It's a classic color but I needed a switch because it was my fourth vehicle in silver with my current 4Runner in silver too. Hope it helps.

dont hate it, but too bland. has no attitude, plain and boring. like 85% of the cars in the general public are silver lol. imo of course.

but thats not to say that it wont look good once its moded. a 5 in any color moded would look nice.

Thanks for the pics, car looks great. It definitely shows the lines of the car very well. At the end of the day almost any color on these cars looks good.

yep. silver's the best color for showing the lines of the car.

what color's the interior? silver/magma is one of the best color combos for the s5 imo.

regardless of whichever color you choose, you'll probably get bored of it after a while. from what i've seen, silver is one of the rarer colors for the s5. i'm not even sure if i've ever seen a silver facelift s5 in person. most i see on the road are black, white or monsoon. i'd say do it. then you'll have something that is less common, easy to maintain and quite honestly one of the best colors for the s5. you can never go wrong with silver.

The Monsoon grey is beautiful, but just not sure i want another car that could be allot of maintenance like my black one. Ibis is a beautiful color. While looks great on a S5. The silver in pics to me looks dull. I would have to see one in person. But it will always look good. Does anyone have pics of there Ice silver S5. Just wanna see how it looks with aftermarket wheels.

Silver seems to be pretty rare on 5's. As I said, I think Ice is a nice color. Some mods and the car would look great!

Way too many black and gray 5's runnin' around. Don't get me wrong, they are nice colors, but WAY too common! Get something different!
