P2196..Oxygen Sensor Signal - Biased / Stuck Rich

Okay, quick question for the S/4 brain trust.
Last month, my S/4 tossed the above code. I search and inquired of answer - it directed me to change out the first / upper 02 sensor. I ended replacing both banks and the CPS.
This morning while getting on the freeway, the code .
So question to the resident experts...1) Is there a disconnect in the wiring ? 2) is the new 02 sensor I bought from our host already bad...I tend to think no.
    Suggestions please.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Guys, 58 looks / reviews and no suggestions -:(.
Again, the code originally pointed to upper most 02...of with I changed the other 02 along with CPS as a preventive measure.
    Car has 78k in her.
Starts up with no rattle - runs great...Except this CEL!
    Suggestion?
    Thanks

    Jake ?.

That code is for Bank 1 sensor 1. You replaced bank 2 sensor 1. Sounds like you replaced the wrong sensor. Hope you didnt throw away the sensor for b2s1.

Are you getting any other codes? What are you seeing for channel 32 MVBs?

: two upper O2 sensor....not too bad of a task
: New diff and trans fluid.
: Warning on the CPS.....it's hidden - even though some had suggested to remove the CV cover and possible R&R from there.
Based on location, one can ONLY feel for the 5mm socket bolt.
I even called & email JH for some support - as it's where I purchase the parts.,..still waiting for support.
So in an effort of " while I'm there" kind of attitude .....I gave up and used the OEM that's in the car....again, I figure why not.
I have to give it to those Audi Techs that do this day in day out...as I simply could not gain access.

Thanks again for those that assisted....at least I know where the CPS is now.
    Enjoy your week.

Okay, thanks to all that responded. In the meantime, I surf the Web regarding this code. One thing stood out. .vacuum leak-:(. Last December I had the dealer install a complete intake manifold. Tonight, I took out my star socket to " check" if manifold bolts were loose..they were finger tight-:(!. I tighten them all a bit. Ran the car and so far no CEL...ya. I think it was running lean and the 02 pick it up and trigger the injectors to run rich on #1 bank. . I will report back in a few weeks of outcome. .thanks again all

Any update on what the dealer said? I have a feeling it is the vacuum hose under the intake manifold on my S4.
