Run #1 - Directly behind, both cars accelerate at same time and he immediately gains 1.5 car lengths in front (torque swell heaven). To much of our amazement and as we began to reach unmentionable speeds, the S4 would not give up anymore than 2 car lengths in between... WOW! Pulled up beside and he tells me the TT was pegged.

Run#2 - Side by Side, from 3rd gear at 60+ mph we go (which by the way, is like getting hit by a Mack truck from behind when stomping his TT in 3rd). Torque swell pushes his car instantly out 2 cars lengths and again the same distance is kept up by S4 to unmentionable speeds. This is crazy, but I'm loving it!

Run#3 - Side by Side, from roll in 3rd again, both cars hot with little cool down time in between, we go again from 40mph and I gain a slight jump in the first 2 seconds but his turbo lag is quickly overcome and propels him out to 2.5 car lengths in front. From there it was apparent the S4 might be loosing some ponies due to heat or inefficient intercooler. In all, not bad for heads up stock S4 vs. heavily modified 911TT. Am very impressed and so was my brother-in-law who really loved the car!
For now, going to enjoy the stock performance and keep the warranty active, but once it hits 50K miles, am planning to go Stage II APR and bring the heat on his 996!

Cheers!
