Edit found a pic, I have since installed my laser jammer knob in it with a stock radio volume button, looks dead stock.

It's a staging coin holder genius. You put the coins in there that you need for the tolls you're going to hit on your way to wherever. There is foam on the bottom of the fins, so the coins are kept in place pretty good for the most part. It's not meant to keep your spare change.

I don't know what kind of tolls I could stage quarters for at this point. Think the cheapest one around here is a couple bucks.

One road road's $10 start to finish. Don't think that thing's holding a roll of quarters.

When I got my first Audi with it, I thought it was some type of sensor for the climate control, lol! The Carbon Fiber solution looks cool and would match the inlays. How was that done?

I use cash. I do not travel toll roads often enough to warrant getting an EZ-Pass. I'd rather not have anything velcroed or suction cupped to the windshield anyway. I just accept that I have to deal with not getting through the toll as fast as most people.

But I don't use coins. There are no toll roads around here cheaper than a couple dollars.

I think it was designed for Euros not US coins. When I was in Europe we used them a lot.

I'm not sure about pricing yet, probably around $100. It is a full replacement part, with tabs, that snaps into place of the old coin holder. No core/deposit required.

Could always do what I do...keep it stored in the center console and hold it out onto the windshield when I need to LOL. I didn't want it velcroed on my windshield either...and will still save you time through tolls!

There are actually A LOT of metered parking locations still on Long Island, particularly in the NYC Burroughs. I keep quarters in there and they have never moved. Dimes, however will move out. Didn't realize how much this bothered everyone. I need quarters on hand for parking at meters. I don't carry change everywhere. It's actually convenient
