    Newcomer post: audi a4 b7 premium vs audi a4 b7 s-line

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hey guys,
I'm new to the forum and am looking to buy a b7 a4. I have seen a bunch of different trims such as premium and premium plus and s-line. I am wondering if the s-line trim is purely aesthetic (for show) or does it have any performance improvements. I am looking to get the inline 4 turbo 6 speed a4 if that gives you any perspective. Thanks in advance!

Sport suspension usually included with sline is the only real performance benefit. The rest of it is appearance. I got the exterior stuff and sport suspension with my 08, but the base model 17" wheels (18" sline/rs6/whatever fat 5 spokers now) and interior. Though, I actually think the 4 spoke steering wheel is better on long highway trips compared to the 3 spoke, and non perforated leather is easier to care for.

Drive train (quattro and preferred transmission) should be the only real deal breakers. Sport suspension maybe if you don't plan to swap it out. Everything else is preference. I do still wish mine were an titanium, though. Really brings the car together.

Having recently picked up a non sline I would try and go sline if possible or a titanium package one.

Thanks for the quick replies. Really appreciate the help. I will try to find an s-line in my price range. I don't know that I have seen any titanium trims in my search so far. I'll post pics once I make a purchase!

i think the most important feature on this car is upgraded head lights followed by a manual. If manual is not an option for you, then my second requirement is s-line.
Titanium is nice, but not needed.

There are a lot of folks on these forums that have s-line, titanium with nice wheels and a great detail. Then you look at the front and see reflectors. Something about reflectors that brings down the class of a car. Non-sline car with votex/DTM side skirts

every time I see the Ti package I wished I would have got one. I agree with the headlights options. I have the reflector lamps. If you can avoid them, do.

Things I wish for on my B7

1 and 2 are pretty close
    1. Bose stereo
    2. Upgrade headlights
    3. Ti package
