My B5 A4 had a failure in the clutch system (lost pedal pressure and ability to shift) last week. Shop says it's the clutch master cylinder. Some questions for the experts out there...
-is the clutch master cylinder the same as the clutch slave cylinder? (i assume so).
-if they are different, any reason to replace the two together? (Is the labor to replace the slave part of the labor to replace the master?)
-quote was $560 parts and labor. Reasonable? (I assume this gets me a 'free' brake fluid flush also).
