Hi! I search for anyone who have painted the grille rings in the colors off the german flag? I know it is common on BMWs but not on audis..

Why i search for a picture are that i cant deside if i like black or stock chrome rings.. So i want to try anyting new with plastidip. I like something on my car that stands out...

Here is a picture what i mean but it's a bmw..

Black surround/chrome rings. Best and only option.

Maybe not the rings themselves, but how about the portion(s) of grill inside the rings similar to what the BMW in the pic did. I think if you did the actual rings you'd lose them, as in they'd be unrecognizable as "Audi rings" from a distance.

EDIT: so just looked at my grill (stock grill), and you actually have 3 slats that go across the inner portion of the rings. Do the top in a gloss black, then red, then yellow. This way you're running the colours horizontally just like the flag, and as such you'd be, arguably, more accurate than the BMW in the above pic.

Was interested in how this would look and i have to respray my grill again so thought why not. This os how it came out. I didnt repaint the top one black since already have black but it may have made it look a bit better. Looks just a tad bit better in person id say. Dont mind the bugs and rock chips =[

I actually kind of like it. Maybe it's just the photo quality, but the yellow seems faded.

I have a German car and I enjoy a German car, but somehow, I can't really get behind "celebrating " Germany--

How about something American? Anyone for a P47 Thunderbolt colors?? Actually, I would like to show up at the Audi Laguna Seca Turn-5 event with these colors.
