I have it mounted to an inch thick hardwood floor, basically directly next to the backseat and I would describe the noise in the cabin as a light hum. To hear it properly I have to close all windows, shut the radio and ventilation

I am currently in process of wiring airlift 3p/h and instead of running pink wire for ignition source all the way to the front of the car, have any of you used rear fuses in the right luggage compartment? for example FUSE PANEL C, fuse #2 12-volt socket, cigarette lighter, or maybe FUSE PANEL B, fuse #11 vehicle electrical system module? Both are at 20amps.

    Thank you in advance.

Anyone here bagged and running an aftermarket rear sway bar? And if so, did you have any clearance issues? I just installed the 034 rear sway bar today with moog end links but its hitting against the lower control arm when I lower the car. I've tried looking at options like adjustable rear end links but only see adjustable fronts. Anyone have the same experience? If so, please share. Thanks!

Yes, that would be greatly appreciated!! I had a shop install my sway bar for me and then when I aired down to ride height on Accuair e level, it was giving an error that there wasn't enough travel on the height sensors. So they put the car back on the lift to check and it's from the bar scraping against the lower control arms. I would hate to go back to stock sway bar

I used the rear cigarette lighter, but there is a relay you can use that is only when the engine is running, luckily I didn't care enough because I hop in my car and throw the engine on anyway.

Here's a pic of my Avant. Running custom bags on ST Coil over struts, Alzor 084. I had to change the front ride height because I was running 140 in the front bags and I knew that was going to blow a bag sooner or later. So this is the last pic of the front end matching fender to lip. Got the whole kit 2x 444C, 5 gal, 4 bags and shocks, with V2 management for $600 so I'm ok working out some kinks.

    Finished the install last week.
Airlift 3H/P (height sensors not installed yet)
    2.5 gallon tank
    1 444cc Viair compressor
So far so good. Love how the car handles and ability to go up and down at the press of a button 😈
The idea behind install is to make it as Clean and Stealthy as possible without sacrificing full trunk space.

P.s. nylon nuts for rear bags suck big time, it’s been 1 week and left side nylon nut already stripped.
Anyone tried making custom aluminum nuts to replace nylon?

Hi I installed airlift 3h and am trying to calibrate the system so when I lower the car all the way and go in the settings it says range low and when I raise it all the way it still says range low ...does it need to make a bigger sweep or do I just have to move my sensors up a little

    Damn nice job!

Very clean install, ... custom air tank inside the rear bumper? Cool! Also really nice job flushing the controller inside the ashtray area in the centre console!

Just installed my 3p setup the other day. Found this 645 relay in right rear of the trunk to add 12v ign on power (pink wire).

I don’t care for the flex lines so far. What are you guys using for hardline setups?

I run the accessory to the 12v outlet but I'm an avant works wonders there is a relay that's only on when the car is turned on but I just fire the car up since I know the tank will be low as it's not a full proof leak proof system I have it has some small leaks at the tank, but I'm not that worried as its only after a day or two it's lower than 100psi.

alrighty, just joined the airlift club got everything installed and working, but i have a few questions. what is everyone's driving air height at so that you guys dont rub your tires. i am currently running 19x9.5 and when i turn or go up or down a cloverleaf on the freeway im rubbing (tires).

driving air height is 73 all around (fender is about 1 finger from tire), front struts are adjust to stock strut height, dampening is 2 clicks from hard.
here is what im looking for in the airlift: comfort and track ability.

How would i get this 3p set up to track ability without rubbing my tires and not ruin the smooth cruising ability.

Has anyone shifted the frame after maxing out the camber? I've maxed camber and pulled my rears but the driver side sticks out a few mm more than the passenger side making it so I can't air out. I'm on basic 19x10 +35 with 245/35 and wanted to avoid stretching more, plus I'm ocd about one side poking out further.

I bought Accuair Endo VT tank before Accuair went out of business .
now I am trying to use it and I am not sure how or if that, the Endo VT tank will work with Air lift Performance 3H.
Anyone here if this or similar experience with this setup?
I have sent emails to Airlift and yet to get a response
any information will be greatly appreciated

If you have the input harness into the Endo you should be ok to splice, you'll have to figure out what to splice in order to get each function working however.
Might be simpler to sell what you have and start fresh sadly.

Currently working on the design of my air management once I sort it out and get some movement it'll be in crowd funding phase. Trying to be in the 500 region on pressure management and 800 w/ ride height sensors some ideas in my mind about using optical sensors since the plastic arm ones are very prone to breaking. There needs to be more companies in the market or one will skyrocket prices.

Curious if anyone else is having issues with their Endo CVT system. I had it installed on my SQ5 when the system first came out and had a ton of issues with it randomly airing out or not airing up when starting the car. They had to replace pretty much every Accuair piece on the car. Of course the week when Accuair said they were out of business the car would not air up and the controller was flashing at me with error codes. Then two days later it started working again and I haven't had an issue since. Just seems like not all of the bugs were worked out to begin with and it works great for a while then will throw a random issue here and there

Hello everyone, I'm just installing Airlift 3p system on my Audi A4 B8.5 right now. Just wondering do I really have to cut a hole for the rear bags just to tight that nylon nut? Is it possible to not use it or cutting?

    Thanks for the advice.

I'm looking into bags for a different reason. Please dont tell me to go buy a truck, but I was the guy that used to have a lifted WRX with the right tires to go play around Big Bend state park and the like. It came time to get a more civilized car and now i have a beautiful Audi. If I wanted to bag it only so that a few times a year I could give it a few more inches of ground clearance would just a manual control be ok? Or would i eventually want an electronic controller as between trips down a dirt road i'd find myself needing to make adjustments due to leaks or temperature changes or other reasons.

    *Official B8 Air Ride thread*

Scrolled through all 76 pages figuring out which way to go. Posting the kit I’m planning to order from bagriders for my 14 allroad. Let me know what you guys think and if I should have any issues with fitting everything in the spare wheel area or any suggestions.

Air lift 3p, airlift performance front/rear struts, 3/8 lines, dual 444c compressors, seamless 4 gal tank, airlift second compressor harness.

As for the tank, I would prefer the 4 gal but because of fit if I decide on the 2.5 gal, how will that affect operation? Also, could I fit (2) 2.5 gal tanks?

Outside of that I would like to get the because bags bracket and the ash tray delete for the controller.

Currently running VMR 710 19x9.5 et 33 with 275/35/19 tires.

Thanks to everyone that’s posted already. Been a huge help in figuring this all out.

The shop that installed my air lift kit did. I know more than a few others who have had it done on theirs as well

Has anyone heard anything about ACCUAIR coming back? Someone buying their tech out and getting it on the market again? I really wished I had bought their CVT solution ... :(

They were picked up by some company. I’ve never heard of them but I think they make oem air applications. There’s an article posted on bagriders

Can someone post a pic of their rear bags? My installer said they didn’t need to cut a hole but everywhere I’m reading it’s needed

What is everyone running for PSI at ride height? I ride at basically 0 finger gap, 80 PSI in the fronts 74 in the rears. Damping in the middle

Back when my Jetta was bagged, i ran at 40/45 psi all around. While the ride in my allroad isn't awful, I feel like i should be running a lower psi and take away the bit of bounciness. Basically raise the struts, to run less PSI and maintain ride height.
