no i had to remove the factory sub to fit the 5 gallon tank. I also had to hammer out the sides of the spare tire wheel well too just a tiny bit

I'm usually at around either 75 or 85 psi for my ride height

If I'm running dual 444c compressors, would a 4 gallon tank be enough to completely air out the bags and immediately fill them up again? Does a 4 gallon fit in the spare tire well? Can I get away with a 3 gallon?
You won't fit that in the spare well. And that eBay 5 gallon is actually rated at 3 gallon capacity. No real 4 or 5 gallon tank is fitting in the spare well without bashing it out wider. I run one compressor and a 2.5 gallon and have no problems airing up my ar but my compressor tirns on every time I do, which isn't a big deal. It's life on air. Compressor is rated for a lot more load than we are using it for. With 2 compressors you will be running half as long as me and in only running 45 seconds per air up. When I air to 100+ tho I have to wait till it fills a bit again and then air up passed the 85-75 in running at drive height. But that's because I only have my tank pressure at 150. You having two compressors can run at 175 and have plenty to air up passed 105, and won't run too long. Tank size is kinda irrelevant to airing up. Unless you want to air up twice when you just aired up already. Then having more air at 180+psi will help.

Spirited driving I would say 100 front 95 rear is a good start for stiff riding. 85 is great for daily driving but I air up pressure when I drive a bit more aggressively sometimes even to 105 and 110. 125 is max but I've only been to 120 myself, im scared lol. I would say start wth 3p and then upgrade if you need. Height sensors are just for leveling the car and for when you put more weight it airs up. But you can also tune that and it's not a big deal. Also upgrading to 3h is easy.

Size of tank doesn't dictate pressure. Just amount of air ups per fill. A 2.5 is rated at 200 psi just like a 5 gall. Just have to fill it more. At 180 psi my 2.5 gallon lifts my allroad to 105 psi all around in a flash.

Great. Thanks for the reply. So in routing the air lines through the body, are there any special tips? The Acciair I was looking at had nice connectors that mounted to the bulkhead, with Air Lift am I just passing the air lines through the body straight from the manifold and have to supply my own rubber grommets to not chaff the lines?

Sorry for the noobness, I never considered bags until last week. I'll likely get the management and take my time installing that and tackle the suspension portion itself when I have time to commit a few days. Sprint Auto Works/because bags developed their own in-house spare tire mounting system that hides everything stealthily to avoid any major fab work.

If you use this air pressure vent by the amp you don't even need to drill any wholes. Only drilling I did was for damping in the front. And tapping the water trap in the well. Running lines was easy just go under the rocker cover and through the bumper. You'll find routes. Take off some panels underneath and run the lines and put the panels back. Just stay away from exhaust and hot places of course. Took me and my friend 4 days to do it on Jack stands in my driveway. Two of those days she was laid up for the actual install of suspension. 3p is sooooo sick dude. The app and the controller are so good.

Sweet! Do you have a picture of the same location but a little further away so I can see the orientation and location? I've installed coilovers twice now, myself and a local forum member so I think I can knock it out myself in about 8 hours, especially since I don't have to remove the gigantic OEM Allroad rear springs- those alone took over an hour each, new ones just fall right out.

New ones definitely don't just fall out lol. The hardest part was by far getting the actual suspension out. It's actually a bitch. Had to use a spring compressor to get the rear springs out. Getting the fronts out is really hard if you aren't on a lift. I suggest not taking off the pinch bolt but taking off the control arms at the top hat. That pinch bolt is a stubborn ******. Maneuvering that HUGE strut at spring fully uncompressed is a real pain in the ass. Gotta find the EXACT agngle to get it out. Taking the metal ring off the top hat for the spring seat is actually a pain too. We thought the actual install would be the easiest part and boy were we in for a rude awakening. Also the AR rear lower intros arm is thicker than the a4, so your illness a longer bolt for the rear bag washer. I wen to Home Depot and bought one but maybe when you order you can ask for a longer bolt. Half inch longer should do it for you. When you get to doing it and need any help or guidance message me on here no worries. Be glad to help. That pocture is in the rear side panel with the amp. There's a black plastic curved piece on the rear part of the panel that pops off and voila the vent.

This may be a noob question, but did you have to tub anything or roll the fenders for enough room to slam the car when lowered?

it depends on your wheel/tire size. I can tuck a 20x10 et40 wheel with a 275/30/20 tire perfectly fine without rolling or pulling the rear fenders

thats my car with the old color scheme, i just finished wrapping it this past monday

Another dummy question, how many holes should I be looking for in a tank and what's the purpose of more? I'm looking to run a 24" 4gal tank with a single Viair 444 compressor. My guess is 1 for compressor, 1 for manifold, 1 for water drainage and 1 for pressure sensor. More holes would be more tanks and more compressors? Any recommendations on brand?

One for compressor one for manifold. Water trap goes in line with manifold. Pressure sensor is built into manifold. Bottom hole on tank for pressure release valve and filler valve. I use airlift tank and it's good. A tank is a tank.

With the new 3h kit it looks like the water trap installs directly to the tank no?

You can outfit where you want. With that big tank in your trunk to save space I suggest running it in line. It really doesn't matter. As long as it's between Tank and manifold.

Gotcha. And then last thing, what's everyone doing about the auto headlight sensor? They're going to be going nuts with all the ride height adjustments.

They adjust accordingly. I don't have an issue with mine. They adjust constantly as it is so they aren't really being pushed at all.

Front can only go down so much, I need to adjust the camber and possibly roll the front fenders to achieve more low. Rear looks good, but will have to keep it a bit elevated to match up with the front

That's the issue, they adjust constantly. When putting the car lower it dips the headlight beam, when going higher it adjusts the beams up. It's because the car thinks it's on a hill and measures from the leveling sensor on the rear drivers side wheel. I (and many others) had to manually adjust the headlights after dropping down on coil to actually be able to see at night; the behavior is going to be insane on bags unless the headlight range control can be defeated.

Or you just set them to your normal ride height and deal with potentially blinding people if raising up on a bumpy road?

I guess I just maybe don't notice a huge difference? They still adjust on bills and even when I air out. Maybe slightly lower than normal when at ride height but no issues with vision at night for me.

I don't know exactly how big the 480 is, but my 444 would fit if you relocate the amp for the radio and remove the mounting bracket. Maybe it could fit behind the mounting bracket for the amp or to the left of you finagle it right, but I wouldn't see it being a huge issue to fit any compressor depending on how much work you're willing to put into it. I've seen people relocate amp in the spare well and then put a sub enclosure in the left. So it's possible for sure.

Here's a really basic question since I'm looking at appropriate air tanks: do these tanks come with bung hole plugs for the unused holes or do I have to source them myself? Looking at getting the 24" Specialty Suspensions seamless tank.

That seamless you need to drill and tap the holes you need. Then just fill the others with bungs when you're done. Not super hard but more steps.

Hey gentlemen, quick question for you about wheel fitment. Getting my S4 bagged by Swoops on LI next week. (AirLift Performance with ELevel Mgmt) I currently have some MRR FS01 19x9.5+40 with 255/35/19 rubber. I'm concerned once bagged and in the "all down" position, my current setup is going to look too inset and not have that proper flush/fitted look that's so sought after. In your opinion, what is the sweet spot for wheel/tire size that will give me that fitted look but won't sacrifice too much in the way of performance and handling. I'm not crazy about that super stretched/non functional look. My car is stage 2 and I'd like to maintain all the drivability I can. I see a lot of guys with 19x10 +30/35 but how much (if any) fender work and tire stretching does that require?

    Thanks in advance!

Here's the car as it sits now:

In my allroad it was an ET25 and it was flush, that's a little too aggressive for non-fendered cars so I would imagine ET30 would be good

Why not just get the suspension on, roll the fenders and see if you need spacers...

Yeah I'm going to do that, I was just in the market for a new set of wheels anyway and would like to avoid running spacers if possible.
