I'm about to order a set... the 12k rated ones...
    http://www.amazon.com/dp/B006EGAIII/...75M8S0EW&psc=1

Just want to make sure the front lower lip will clear them... I'm on OE's.

Anyone lowered (on OE's or similar) use these to get the front end up? I know the rear will be no issue.

    Thanks gents... (and ladies...)

I bought the 16K lb capacity ones just to be sure and they work just fine. I've only backed into them but they would definitely clear the front end on my car, which is lowered on KWV2s.

    I realize I have a different set: http://www.amazon.com/each-Rhino-Ram...ds=rhino+ramps

But, they both say 17 degree incline. I'm lowered on OE's and I do NOT clear to pull forward onto them and I haven't even installed my front lip yet.

i have these and have never been able to pull any of my cars up on them, was a waste of money for me. I do use them after i jack my car up, i place them backwards under the wheel then lower the car back on them to hold it up. If you must have a set of ramps, invest in some race ramps.

With OE's I hightly doubt it ... even my 4x4'ish stock 2013 S5 w/ADS dampers ride hight requires a 3/4 piece of plywood in front of my rhino ramps to keep the front bumper from hitting. Any amount of lowering and I'd hit...

I'll check which rhino ramps I have. I'm able to drive up them without problem. Very useful tool!

I have a set of Rhino ramps with a sticker saying "Do not exceed 3000 lbs each, or 6000 lbs per pair, or 12000 lbs gross vehicle weight", so I'm not sure which "rating" they areas far as what is advertised on the packaging, but I can easily say that on H&R OE springs and 255/35/19 front tires my stock front bumper will hit the ramps before my tires get onto them. It's not by much, but it'll definitely hit.

I have the HD Rhino Ramps and they work ok. I use them for everything from my S4 to my Excursion. The only issue is they slide on my wood floor and need to screw a block of wood to keep them still.

Good point, mine slide on my driveway surface as well. When I am backing onto them they tend to slide a bit when the tires first hit them. Then when you get to the top and hit the built in wheel chock at the back end, it slides again (but that's probably a good thing).

The 16k ones don't clear a stock RS5... :( It was close though. A piece of wood before the ramps helped. But once I lower the car on coilovers, no dice.

Our car has a pretty short front end, even with my OEs I can get on them just fine. My Accord Coupe's nose was really long and lowered on Honda Factory Sport suspension and I couldn't get to the wheels from the front. Love this car for even the simple things!

If you are in no hurry put the ramps in your wishlist and keep an eye on the price. A few weeks ago the price was in the mid 30's with free shipping and just went up almost $10 over night. I am waiting till the price goes back down to purchase.

man, you have so little room for error with those ramps. i have a set of the 8000s, and not only is the sliding a problem, but they're not wide enough to hold the entire 255 tire (which you can see on svander's pic). You have to be absolutely perfect going on them. The final straw for me was when a buddy of mine came by and we tried to get his Camaro on there. one of the ramps kicked out, which scared the crap out of both of us. Luckily no damage was done to the car.

I ended up building my own. Pretty straight forward if you have any wood working skills at all.

They hold the whole width of the wheel just fine. I just was a little off on that side. These are also 10" wide wheels for what it's worth.

The ramps come with a rubber insert at the beginning of the ramp that makes it have good traction once the weight of the car is on them.

I do recommend them. I'm decently low on KWV2s and the car went in with almost no clearance on the lip, but went in just fine.

Nice home built ramp! I don't have the space to store such wide large ramps. I like the Rhino's cause they slide in on top of the other... (no dirty jokes!).
I've got them in my WishList and will grab em when they drop back down... not that it matters all that much... I won't need them for a while as I'm still traveling for work...

thanks.. but they don't take that much space. i store them standing up. They're about 18" wide and 7" tall, so they take up less than 2' x 2' area of floor space.

For those folks needing ramps with lowered cars, try http://www.reverselogic.us for ramps. They're designed specifically for cars that are lowered. It's an excellent product!

In addition, he has the lug insert tools to aide in wheel installation for easier fitment

If enough people are interested (in either), I might be able to ask him for a group buy? (I know him well)

I got the Rhino Ramps - found them for $30 new on Craigslist.
    Rear was no issue.
Front was very tight... Prob would have worked fine... My garage has a 1 inch lip at the threashold which worked out perfectly. I put the ramp ouside up against the lip (with the car in the garage) and I rolled out onto the ramp... presto!

These will be my next ramp purchase for sure:

After reading all the reviews on Amazon about Rhino Ramps slipping and cracking, that was enough for my paranoid ass to pass on them.

    who needs ramps?

But seriously if your car is slammed you can make a short ramp that then transitions to the Rhino ramps for less than $400.

$228 on Amazon. Still not cheap but they are very high quality and the two piece design provides a little more side access to the underside of the car. They are not injection molded but made of a very dense foam.
