I can't get it to move down.

I took off the b pillar and couldn't find anything wrong.

    Any advice??

    Thanks everyone

I see in your picture that the release "button" is depressed. This will happen if the release mechanism is not properly seated on top of the "slide" that adjusts the height of your seat belt.

Pull your b-pillar off again and make sure that when you put it back on that the thing labeled in red is sitting on top on the thing labeled in blue. (sorry about the poor picture, I only pulled the bottom corner of the pillar off).

I've tried taking the b pillar completely off and engaging the mechanism, but nothing moves. No matter what I do it is stuck.

I will try to post some pictures with the b pillar off

The square piece on your "slider" (for lack of a better term), needs to be rotated about 45 degrees. It should be oriented how I've drawn the green square. It looks like it's been trying to fit where the red "X" is drawn... It needs to fit where the green circle is drawn.

Also - the piece just below where the blue line is drawn looks like it's broken on one side and is bent down. You'll need to bend that piece back up so that it is straight. The blue line is where it should be.

Is there a way to lower the height adjuster with the b pillar off?

I assume so, though I'm not entirely certain. Try moving that little black square piece up or down.

I just noticed that part of your problem could be that your release "button" is missing the spring. This spring is necessary so that the release button is not constantly depressed.

Circled in red is where the spring should be located.

    Wow the plot thickens!

I have tried moving just about everything that's around the seatbelt to get it to lower, all I can hear is a click when I try to pull It down, it's like it's catching on something every time. I feel like there has to be a way.

The spring missing would explain why my button looks constantly depressed.

Try bending this tab down so it's pointing straight out (be careful not to break it). Once it's straight, press it down slightly (not with enough force to bend it) and simultaneously try sliding the adjustment unit down.
