    Hey guys,
Going in to replace the timing belt this weekend. One of the things I didn't do last time that I wondered about was put loctite on my threads. I noticed a few bolts that seemed to have it on when I undid them, but I didn't put any one when I put it all back together.

Do you guys use it? What color?

Blue. It goes on pretty much every bolt that has even a remote chance of getting to the tbelt.

Prob easier to get them out next time with the blue than putting them in with nothing. Will seal the threads from moisture and keep them from rusting in there.
There are only 2 things needed to make an Audi work properly - Duct tape and WD40. If it moves and it shouldn't - Duct tape. If it doesn’t move and it should - WD40.

I always use the blue loctite. I've always had this fear the red shit would never break loose

Blue for small bolts, red/yellow for brake caliper bolts. Only use Red if you plan to never remove the bolt, it's good for brakes as you don't ever want those to come undone while in use, but are still able to remove the bolt without stripping anything as they are typically a grade 12.x bolt.
