Actually I bought the car already installed, the fit and finish looks great. I went to my local dealer and saw a RS5 (I know not the same car) and the grill looked same in quality.

A friend who has seen both in person states that the replica grille is thinner and feels flimsier than the OEM RS6 grille.

That being said, if I didn't have the front view camera, I would have opted for the replica grille and saved myself $$$...

Yes. You can quickly tell by looking at the inside of the rings (it has mesh). The OEM grille uses a solid filler;

I don't have a preference, other than retaining the front view camera...

The solid filler is a removable piece that is separate from the grille to allow for different versions (i.e. with front view camera, without, and/or with the night vision camera).

CreoSTI- what makes your grille different from other RS6 ones I've seen? Most seem to have a lower "scoop" that has the quattro logo-- but yours seems to be mesh all the way down to the bottom. Is yours a standard RS6 grille? And was yours, like most people on here, sourced from Alex @ Europrice? I'm interested in the look yours has (def the look I would want on my white S6)-- tho not yet sure I'm ready to spend the cash hah!

The OEM RS6 grille can be purchased with or without the "quattro" logo. I didn't care for the logo, so I bought the one without (I think it was also $100 or so cheaper).

Sorry for thread necro but I couldn't find an answer to this anywhere. My prestige S6 has the same silver 'bars' covering the fog light area, which just clash with the black/black grille. How are people getting these to be black? I see some cars come stock with black bars but is there a replacement part sold somewhere or are people just painting them?

I know for several a concern with the non OEM grill was the camera mount. After purchase, this seller asked if I wanted the camera holder & night vision version (and if I wanted black rings vs chrome). It comes with parking sensor clips. I don't have a camera on my car but figured I'd let others that do know. Once I receive & install I'll report back on quality etc.

I purchased one of those a few weeks back from the same seller, haven't gotten around to installing it yet. The front camera holder looks like crap, I haven't taken off my bumper yet to verify but I doubt it will work. Doesn't even have any mounting screws or brackets, just a little plastic piece glued to the front. It doesn't look anything like the oem brackets people have installed on other grills. That being said I'm probably going to order the real bracket (about $80) and install it on this grill with some custom fab. Other than that the grill itself looks nice and I saved a ton of money by going with it (offered the seller $325 for one and he accepted). If I get a full weekend off to install it I'll update with some pics.

Thanks for your feedback. Glad the grill itself looks great! Sorry to hear the camera mount doesn't. Shoot, I didn't even think about negotiating the price!....no prob 389 is still a steal IMO vs ~3k OEM. Look forward to seeing pics!!

anyone know if the side vents are swappable from non s-line to s-line? i have the boring ones and would like the "mesh" style. I assume they just pop in but since the bumpers are a little different it might be an issue.

I'm still on the fence about doing this to my S6. All of the photos are fairly close up of the grille (the style I like with all black honeycomb and no quattro script at bottom) so it's hard to get an idea of what it will look like. I think I will be going for the black look - instead of the silver frame, grab the one with black around the frame edge, and black out the little fog light area silver bars so it's a nice black flow. Basically exactly what MYAUDIS7 did:
