Q5 roof rack on a Q7 help in Denver.

Hey guys,

We just got a Q7 TDI, love it. I see a lot of Q5 racks for sale cheap on ebay and want to see the extent of the modifications required to mount them on the Q7.

So far it looks like the roof rail distance is the same (they are more inset on the Q7, and outset on the Q5). The profile is the same as well. I think the biggest difference is the little pin holes that the racks mount into on the inside of the flush rails, but I could possibly modify those very easily.

Anyway, I'm down in the highlands ranch area if maybe anyone is close by? I think it should only take about 10 minutes or so.
