I was thinking the same thing as I'm definitely not your average 28 year old...
I joined a startup company aged 19, and we now have multi million pound turn over - so I lucked out in joining a successful startup when there were only 4 employees and I managed to stayed at the top of the pile as the company grew - not that it hasn't been 9 years of seriously hard work!!
But if I look at my friends/peers, so most when to University, 2 or 3 are now Dentists/Lawyers and so only now starting to catch up with my salary, but most are government employees, teachers, bus drivers, your usual job etc and could never dream of owning a beast like an SQ5 (unless they planned to live in it!).
But... as I said earlier, an SQ5 with equivalent spec to US Prestige is $90k here in the UK at the current exchange rate!!!! So there is a big difference in cost and so definitely pushes the average age of the UK buyer up compared to the US. But none the less, I can't imagine too many Americans can afford a $60k car?
I think the point about forums being a young demographic is very true though - so likely a lot of SQ5 owners out there are 30s/40s/50s but just not on here! The car is clearly aimed squarely at the 2.4 children family whereby Dad likes to use his right foot, but Mum can happy drive the kids to school in it during the week! It's also worth noting that the UK advertising is aimed VERY heavily at couples - on another UK heavy Q5 forum about 70% of the SQ5's are bought by the husband for the wife (with varying degrees of input from her!)...

Shortened, reworded version after a lot of people suggested the original said 'Audi SQ5 drivers - they leave women in distress at the side of the road'!!

Have Audi advertised the SQ5 in the US much? And if so how? Is the demographic they are aiming at younger?
mharper - what's your story! 24 is definitely way young to be owning a car like this! I didn't buy crazy cars til I was 25 and had a house sorted first!
