    Hi,
I would like to know if i can use 380CC Injectors for the K04-015 Unitronic tune or absolutly need 386CC injectors.Because it is not a big difference.
If i really need 386 injectors,do you know any one that would trade them with mine(Mine are brand new)

This is last thing i need to do to finish my build I will update pictures soon @ :

Tune calls for 386cc, then you need 386cc.

From what I understand you CAN NOT use 380cc injectors for a tune that calls for 386cc. It just wont work. Sell yours, buy 386's.

It would be fine, but do the injectors have the same electrical connector, and are they the right height? Chances are no.

Our Stage 2+ Software requires OEM TT225 386cc injectors. Using alternative injectors other than the TT225 386cc injectors will result in undesirable results and is not recommended. In addition, please ensure that you're using an OEM TT225 MAF housing, retaining the stock sensor in the TT housing, as that is an additional requirement for our 2+ calibration. Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions!

386/380=1.5% Don't kid yourself to get injectors with that kind of tolerance. You would have to flow test a whole bunch of 380 or 386 injectors to find 4 that even fall with +5/-5 cc around your desired 380cc.

From what I understand about tuning: might be more important to get the correct TYPE of injector, since electrical and mechanical (spray pattern, etc.) conditions are different from one brand/type to another. So if the tune calls for OEM TT225 injectors (unitronics: inject the correct Bosch part number here), it is not so much the 380cc that are the issue, but the correct brand/type (hence: part number).

Correct me if I am wrong.

It is very important to use the exact injector that we require, if you're looking for the best results and support from Unitronic. As you mentioned, it's more than just the flow rate of the injector. Don't forget that the Bosch 380cc injectors and the OEM TT225 386cc injectors don't share the same latency times and spray pattern, which have a big effect on compatibility with the software calibration. Our Stage 2+ software calibration requires OEM TT225 386cc injectors.
