audi wheel caps not fitting on Peelers

    Hey guys,

I swapped my 18inch winter set for my 19 peelers yesterday and the 5 star wheel caps pop off all the time. Do the caps only fit on some rim types? or is it an issue now that I have bolted in my wheels locks?

    Thanks

Damn, I may just black out the smaller caps then.

On a side note, changing the wheels was a pain in the ass with the threads not being exposed to life the wheels onto.

You have a wheel hanger in your trunk for that purpose.

I haven't gotten to drive to hard since buying, so wanted to enjoy some summer rubber.

I can switch in my garage, just takes some work

Haha yeah, I want yo switch now also but know I'd be screwed later and have to do it again.

To your original question, caps do fit on with the peelers, you just have to line them up perfectly and give them a solid push straight on. Your wheel lock lug is a different shape I think it's round compared to the five sided ones.

When you can, get the billet aluminum one. Doesn't bend or break. Trust me

The wheel hanger tool that comes with the car is plastic. I'd recommend getting a 6061 anodized aluminum one from ECS Tuning. They also have the plastic version for about $5 less, but I think the aluminum one would be stronger over the long run.

K, got a good look through the tools now.

Didn't come with a First Aid kit in the back armrest though, not a bad idea to keep stocked..
