Espo's Powder Coating Review
After purchasing a set of my first 3 piece wheels I had to send them out to get re-finished. I contacted several places however I chose to bring them over to Tom at Espo's Powder Coating in Staten Island, New York. Tom was very friendly over the phone and through emails and gave me a great quote. Being that they are 3 piece they needed to be taken apart to be properly refinished. HRE strongly advises that they be re-done in house due to torque specs etc. but Tom verified that he has worked on a number of HRE wheels and that he knows exactly what needs to be done for them to be put back together correctly. Tom told me that they would be done within a week (they were dropped off on 3/7). I received a phone call from Tom personally this morning informing me that the wheels were indeed finished and that I can pick them up whenever I get a chance... the kicker here is that he actually came in UNDER the original quote. It's very rare that a company will quote you a certain number and inform you that they were actually able to complete the job for less. I am very pleased with the overall customer service and work over at Espo's and highly recommend anyone looking to get their wheels refinished.
I will be picking the wheels up tomorrow and will post pics!
