As a manager at Autozone we sell good parts depending on what you buy. CV Axles are not one of them. After one year of use the boot ripped flinging grease everywhere. Looking for another vendor, which ones the best??

I'd say thats a low quality boot issue not an axle issue, are you lowered? inner or outer? I'd just reboot the axle with a good quality replacement boot and call it good.

Raxles are hands down the best axle you can buy for your car imo. Great customer service, and a lifetime warranty, and an axle that exceeds OEM specs, there's not much more you can ask for.

So since their is absolutely no pricing info on raxles. How much does a said best ever made awesomest raxle cost? I have heard 350$ to 1300$. I would much rather put a cheap 100$ axle in 3 times compared to spending that kind of money personally but I am cheap lol. Also I have only run empi axles from ECS, only problem is you have to pack the inner cv joint with the supplied cv grease (I added a little more than they supplied because I felt it wasn't enough and it has lasted quite nicely for several years).

Just email Raxles to get a price. They respond right away.

One thing about Raxles, they need you to send them your OE cores as part of the process. So if you don't have OE cores already, then they charge you full price, which, unless you have money to burn, isn't worth it. SO make sure your shit is OE, otherwise just go with one of the many other axles available for our cars.

It's 200 with a core. 300 without. Per axle. Lifetime warranty.

With that being said I get my auto part international axles at cost which is about 55 per axle. They are usually around 200. I've got 3 of them on the car now with no issues for 2 years.

Raxles. I have not had any problems with mine in two years. Do it!

Raxle axles here. I replaced both of mine 2 years ago. You can't beat OE style with heavy duty hardware.

Oh yeah less than 1% failure rate.

On the S4 forum here some guys like to buy the AutoZone reman axles because apparently they rebuild OEM axles. And they're pretty decently cheap.

So I decided to give it a go with my A4. To start with, a previous owner replaced (at least) the driver-front axle with EMPI. I couldn't even see a tear in the boot (but it was a bit rotted) and there was grease everywhere, and it was making noises. Autozone took the Empi as a core :) And $55 later I had a remanufactured axle in my hands with a lifetime warranty... even came with an axle bolt. This one doesn't look OEM but with this lifetime warranty I think I can swing replacing it every once-in-a-while.

IMO Gkn/Lobro axles are the best. Had bad experiences with EMPI, FEQ and another cheap (can't remember the name)brands.. Now running on GKN for last 40k miles and no issues..
