Reminds me of the B5 days when Stage 3 kits were coming out with RS4 components for the S4. Proved to be quite reliable over time also. I have a feeling this is going to turn out to be a phenomenal modding platform. There goes my wallet.....again!!

Just took my '01 S4 avant out yesterday for the first time in a month or two. If Audi can make a car like that again I'd be all over it. The S6/7 cars will probably prove to have a great motor to build on top of just like the S4 B5, now imagine it in a smaller chassis...

I wouldn't say it's reasonble , the 5.5amg turbo upgrade is around 15k , 700 awhp , why it would be double for turbo upgraid , I'm sure the parts let's say 15 I'm large today , tune 2500 , labor to swap 2 turbos and cooling 12500 ? no , the price is unreasonable at all

I disagree. There is presumably a cost to come up with all the parts, the software to make it work, the testing involved in pulling all of that together to make it work with some degree of certainty that it won't all blow up after a few miles. Take those costs, a profit margin of some type and then factor in that your market for this product is miniscule at best. There are only so many people who are going to do this kind of modification to an already expensive car. To reproduce a S6 or S7 that puts out the final numbers that this kit pushes out, you'd be looking at something equivalent to a RS6/7 Plus with a price tag of at least what you'd pay for a stock RS6 when you factor in the price of the car. Am I willing to drop $30k on a stage whatever? Hell no. Is the price reasonable? Arguably, yes. But hey, prove me wrong and reproduce their results for $15k and you'll have the market cornered.

Did you call Uni or sportmile? What all is included in that package?

I've heard you can get the RS turbos for around $5k if you know the right people. And they're top mount so much easier to change than a B5 S4. A mechanic who knows what he is doing could probably swap them in 2-3 hours if all the coolant/oil lines are the same.

I don't know what all is involved in the cooling system, but I can't imagine it requires something as extreme as an engine pull. So a few more hours to swap all this stuff around?

I'm pulling the engine of my s4 b5 ones in 6 month and for 30k I got out of it 900+ hp , so I don't see even 1 reason why the turbo swap is so expansive . and again competitors do that for half a price with more gain on much more expansive car
