Posts like this make it really hard to not be a sarcastic dick.

There is no way of leading you in the right direction without any description of symptoms or fault codes and anyone who tells you otherwise is full of shit. Cars today have diagnostics for a reason. There are literally hundreds of sensors, any of which can cause a fault. Get it scanned and post codes and the forum will do what it can to help.

^^^ this. We don't try to be assholes but there's literally no chance anybody on this forum could give you any relevant information with the lack of details you have provided.

best advice is to get it scanned buddy. That is what everyone is going to tell you. Don't drive it hard when you take it to get scanned. Once the have the codes post up the results and we all would be more than happy to help you out

Best thing you can buy for 25 bucks is a Bluetooth OBD2 reader for your car. You can pull codes anytime you want, plus many other monitoring things via smartphone/tablet/ect

Wouldn't expect anything less than the comments I've got back here guys, I thought it was a bit silly asking when I posted it. Was more to find out if anyone had driven their car with the engine management light on and caused any serious damage in doing so. Cheers anyway, ill price up a new flux capacitor later and have a go at changing that, see if it does the trick......... :D
