Downpipe for A4 B7 2.0T Quattro TIP ?

Hello,
Wondering if someone can help me out with which downpipe I should go with. I am putting in the 034 HFC and 16601 Magnaflow exhaust. I tried the RAI and had fitment issues so that is out. Stassis, Unitronic, and some others only offer it for 6MT. I saw from some old posts that people were having Labree build them the downpipes is that still the best option?

I've had good luck with my RAI but I also considered techtonics when I was looking for mine.

Also take a look at the new stuff JHM has to offer.

A stainless steel 2.5 down pipe with gaskets and bolts for $250.00 for TechTonic tuning is. No fit issue what so ever.
JHM has some nice products also. Go check their website for stuff.
Ive heard that some of the oldier RAI DP fit well.

ordered my tt DP Friday, will be installing next week with my 034 HFC, new oxygen sensors and spacers. I'll probably make a thread since most TP/HFC/DP threads are for the 6MT guys.

There is 2 different style DP from TT. One with a 55mm reducer that will fit oem exhaust pipe. And there is a full 2.5 inch all the way back that you will need to modify fit unless your running 2.5 inch pipes already

I have the TT downpipe with the 55mm reducer. It lined up perfect with both my old stock exhaust and my current europaparts exhaust. It also lined up perfect with both my 034 HFC and my old eurocode testpipe.

I recommend it.

I'm also interested if the downpipe makes any sound difference, I have the 034 test pipe and the TT downpipe and I'm waiting to install it Monday, it's going on my stock exhaust for now

Nice! look forward to watching it! Im currently running APR TP and a 2.5" midback with stock DP so I want to see how it will be to increase from 2.25" to 2.5" sound and flow wise.

Here's the video I made, in all honesty, after getting the test pipe and downpipe installed, I can hardly tell a difference in sound, it's a slight bit more throaty and that's about it, but performance wise, it feels amazing, it feels like I have a tune now, I can't wait to get my tune, now I'm gonna install a catback for more flow, or something custom

Dont expect much more flow from a new catback exhaust. Youve taken out the most restrictive parts of the exhaust already. Expect maybe an additional 5% more flow if that.

The turbo spools so much smoother and faster, it's nice, no lag pretty much, it feels like alot of added horsepower too lol

I actually didn't install it because I work 9 days straight starting on the day the downpipe was delivered, so I just wanted to have it done, but if you installed your test pipe it's cake, you're a tiptronic transmission I'm guessing? If so, with the test pipe on, there's so much more room to work

yup im TP .. there isnt much room to work with since tranny is in the way but Ill give it a go!

Sounded like my oem exhaust when I did the DP and TP only. I would just the exhaust tips into a oval or quad design along with valance and call it the day. The stock exhaust is a high flow low restrictive unit anyway. The only draw back is it weighs a few pounds more then the aftermarket ones

Yeah it does have a little rasp, but that's when the camera is right behind the car, you can't really tell the difference in sound in the cabin

No problem! There's really no drone whatsoever, it's just on the outside of the car when you can hear it
