Should be hovering 25lbs +/- 2lbs. The_transporter has the 20" ultraleggera hlt on his c6 a6 and he weighed his, I'm just stuck on mobile at the moment so I can't find the exact number.

So.. Per Tire rack 18x8 et 48 weights 18.6lbs

That means the 19 inch version is probably around 20lbs.. that's seriously light... I am definitely considering a set now.

Just order them with a different car selected. Then ask for the correct hubcentric rings. OZ hub rings are VERY nice. Metal rather than plastic. Switching to these from stock setup completely changed the cars' dynamics. Quicker acceleration, better cornering and improved stopping.
Lightweight wheels are a great way to kill 2 birds with one stone: They are a sexy upgrade AND they can enhance the performance of the car.

You have no idea what you are talking about. I'm sick of you spreading misinformation and steering people away from legitimate products. OZ HLT wheels are some of the strongest, lightest, non-forged wheels you can buy. Go spend $3000 on a set of cast HRE wheels and post up your review of them, West.

I've been driving the SH*T out of my HLT's since last year, and they are as nice as the day I bought them. (covered in about 6 layers of plasti-dip) Recently had my alignment, balance and refill done, and the wheels have no cracks, no bends... nothing. Where do you come up with this BS Westwest? Do you just love listening to yourself talk and espouse fertilizer all day?
There's a reason these wheels were an option from Porsche...

New to wheels and all that, I used to just use tirerack, punch in my car, and choose the best looking one.

How would I choose one for a 2014 S5? It doesn't show up as an option on Tirerack.

HLT are flow formed so they are essentially forged in the barrel which is what matters. The spokes don't really add much strength to the wheel, they are only a means of attaching to the hub.

The reason forged wheels are so fuckin expensive is because they are manufactured in an inefficient method of turning from an ingot. Not because they are necessarily stronger by the same percentage as the difference in price.

So would you say the same about BBS wheels? Their wheels are either flow formed, or forged (the expensive options).

Those of you who bagged on Wes, all he said was they "look" like they bend. He formed an opinion based on appearance. He didn't state a fact.

What he should have said instead is that these are ideal on the track and that you should not consider anything bigger than 19" (18 recommended) with tall sidewall tires. Because if you track your car as much as he does, fat tires along with light wheels will give you an edge.
