I'm running a Pioneer AppRadio3 with my Samsung Galaxy S3 as the source for my navigation.

I had the OEM RSNE
Since the NAV disc is so expensive and unit has limited option, I went on the dark but better side
This unit is amazing and not sure where to start:

Touch Screen
CAN BUS (you keep your steering wheel command) and you can customize or reassign them as well.
GPS (windows based) with free life time upgrade with red lights camera maps included
VIM enabled
DVD region free
Rear view camera (this was an option) but unit is fully capable as you will see on the video
Micro SD slot in front (I have a 64gb disc there to play all my music videos)
USB via extension cable to run additional hard drive with movies for example
IPOD cable that I use with an ipod with all my songs. If a buddy jumps in, he can stream his music via Bluetooth
Micro USB on face plate: great to charge anything you need
I am in the process of installing an additional HD radio module

CAN BUS



Now, on previous post, people told me that it's a Dynavin or something else (I don't remember). I simply do not know.
What I know is the box does not say Dynavin anywhere. You can find units looking the same but I can certify they are the same. Got the unit from a customer who sells them.

^^ You should post a review of this unit in the Car Audio section. Fairly often there are people in there asking what the quality on those units is like, having a review from a well known member will go a long way to helping people decide.

Back on topic, I don't have any recent pictures but have a Nexus 7 as my aftermarket navigation/head unit. Works perfectly, the only thing I have lost coming from a stock radio is information on the DIS (which happens with pretty much all aftermarket units).

I noticed that this is VERY similar to Dynavin but not a Dynavin cause of location of the micro sd slots and the usb connection on the faceplate. Dyanvin has not had anything new for 2 years and is overpriced in my opinion so this might be another possibly better option.

The functionality of Phil's unit is awesome. I just dont like that design the buttons do not match up with anything else in the interior. The whole shape is just funny and would bug me

The guy has also the same setup with RNSE face but when compared side by side, the one looks much better

For now yes, you loose the display feedback but this should be addressed by soft upgrade to be normally released in March. To be honest, it really does not bother me.
For XM and Sirus, you should be able to use the AUX function. I will use the same for the HD radio

This face looks like the 2013 Symphony with the chrome buttons and overhaul looks more symmetrical.

The problem with our "older" setups is our navi is too low for safe viewing while driving. Also notice where I am located, driving in this area is like group aviation aerobatics. Also up here, every street/highway exit is multiple (as in there are 2 right turns, on is just after), so the arrows on the dash are GREAT, it show if it is the next turn, or if it is further ahead (the small line coming off shows that there is at least 1 turn before your turn).

I can't remember the last time I actually looked at the navi screen, I 99% of the time use the dash.

Well. If the only way to connect is Aux, then it would still require another tuner, and you wouldn't be able to control it from this navi.

I have literally had 5 of these units. They all come with a different versions of WinCE and the interfaces are always different. The one that Phil posted is legit the best one. ZERO lag time and a great UI. I just wish they would finally put sat radio on these! I have the TV tuner, wifi dongle, and 3G dongle. Works like a champ.

This is the cheapest one I have found and it comes with a free rear camera.
