I used some lowering links from air mattic in UK. Only option right now. No modules available although I hear you can do this with a factory service tool

I lowered it about 2”. The links can actually go much further assuming the air bags will. I think I may lower it another 1/2” but I’ll leave it here for now. Still rides exactly the same in dynamic too. Links were only $200 shipped and installed in about an hour. Lowering a car has never been easier!

Thanks guys! I’m very pleased with how it came out. A little work left to go to make it perfect. Black optics front end conversion coming soon along with getting ceramic coated and tint. Lots more coming beyond that...as soon as some parts are actually made for this thing!

Here’s a side shot from this morning. All the nasty smoke in the air from fires here didn’t make for good light though.

hoooray for BO front end, ceramic, tint. I've never been such an early adopter to a new platform, patience for parts! With the links does the ride height still change in different modes or is it always at the lowest height? haven't done any perusing

Yea the patience is going to be hard. There's a couple things that I want sooner than others though and I will be checking with 034 for some of those things very soon.

The ride height changes in the different modes for sure. Its very convenient with the air suspension. Not that I am that low now, but I still have the choice to raise it by I think up to 4-4.5" in off-road mode.

Thanks Mops! Maybe one of these days I will get with IG...but I wouldn't count on it! CH-R would look good for sure but from my few days of running the OEM 20's, 20" wheels look pretty small on this thing.

thank you! the car has been at this height since i put the wheels on. i do rub a bit front and rear on the plastic trims which can get annoying with people/cargo in the back. it rubs on large dips in the road where the car squats deep.

i may end up raising it a bit as the offsets and wide tires are slightly too aggressive and i've already machined 3mm off the backpad of the rears and have the camber at -2.6.

because it looks so good how it sits, i've been hesitant... lol

Head is spinning on wheel choices and specs,spacers, etc....
I am switching over to 20" wheels on account of having some options for a all -season tires for occasional snow/winter use.
I do have air suspension. Can I use 20x10" ET40? Will they clear or rub? At what point are spacers required? I figure 20x9" ET35 will be fine?

20x10 ET 40 may have some clearance issues (possibly on the inner strut but you may be OK). And depending on the style of spokes on the wheels, you may also have an issue clearing the brakes (the stock 20's just barely clear). 20x9 ET 35 should be stock like in fitment and should work assuming brake clearance (will depend on the wheel). For reference, you can see my fitment a few posts above. 22x10.5 ET 24 F and ET20 R. I am going to shave the hubs a little and be closer to ET 27 F and ET23 R for a better overall fit. But that will leave me about 2mm at most of clearance on the inside for the front wheel.

On my 2018 (also with air) I have 20x10.5 ET35 HRE FF01, with 7F/12R spacers, and it works great. I could go down a bit in front on the spacer (maybe down to 5 or so), and of course less in the rear.
