Will B9 Audi Black Optic Package SQ5 wheels fit on a 2016 Q5 3.0T? Current wheels are the OEM 235/55/19. The B9 wheels are 20x8 ET39, 5x112 bolt pattern. Tires are OEM 255/45-20 Continental CrossContact LX Sports.

If anyone has any photos, it would be much appreciated!

Clean ride! I'm torn between the same SQ5 wheels or the 20" RS6 wheels on a florett silver B9 Q5. Are the RS6 reps in the photo 20" or 21"?

Thanks man! I was set on HRE’s before MOPS talked me into the CHRs and I absolutely love them. I went -1 or I think -1.2 I’ll have to check on my camber and it doesn’t poke as much. Regardless, it looks incredible with that blue

    Hi!
I am pretty new here and have tried to go through the thread about wheels, wheel size and still have som questions?

    I have a European SQ5 2015 Diesel (Misano red with 313Hp Bitdi).

I know that the original size on the wheels are 21x8,5 with ET33. I have 265/40r21 tires on and have a new set tires Michelin pilot sport SUV in 265/40r21 home (got them really cheap).

I really want new wheels but have a few questions?
I if go for 21x10 wheels what ET should I look for?
Can I use 265/40r21 on 21x10 or will it look bad?

I want to have a pretty flush look and no poke or just little?

My winter tires are 20x9 with ET25 and the look so much better but I seen many of You here using 22x10, 21x10, 20x10.
So can someone please help me with photos or info?

    265 on a 10 inch looks a little stretched. I originally had 21x10 with 265/40 but I later got 295/35 imo it looks better with 295s. 20200214_144727.jpeg

    Thanks!
I also think it would stretch some but hope it aint to bad?

21x9 is no problem and also 21x9,5 would be very close.
I see a lot of People here running 21x10 but which ET would be good if I don’t want spacers?

It’s all subjective, and really depends on the look you want. But if you spend some time browsing this forum and looking at pictures you can make an informed choice. What I was able to gather is that et25 is the most ideal offset for flush on the fender. I can tell you I’m running et18 and the fronts poke a little bit. I’m still gonna tweak the camber and see if I can bring it in a little more but I don’t think it’s going to change a whole lot. The poke doesn’t bother me at all, with the meaty 295s it looks great! But I’m running 20 inch wheels, because of the better tire options. 21 inch wheels still don’t have a lot of great options, although they are offering many more now. My advice is just read a lot of this forum and look at a shit ton of pictures to make the best choice for you! The guys that came before us on here deserve a lot of credit for posting up their setups, makes it a hell of a lot easier! Good luck!

Thanks! I have tried to get through the 118 pages but it is really hard to gather the information. It is to much. I was hoping that someone managed to put together a ”easy to read manual” with tire sizes, ET, spacers. I have tried to collect information three times now but it is so much so it is hard to handle?

Yes, it seems that ET25 are the Golden way with 9 or 9,5” wide rims and after that it Will poke a little especially with 295.
The ET25 and 9” or 9,5” will make it look flush and no poke.

Thanks for posting your setup when you got it installed, it really helped me make up my mind in choosing the 295s. It looks fantastic by the way! Sepang is such a badass color! I’m extremely happy with the meats, and the way they handle and ride. Have you noticed any crazy tire wear going -1.4/-1.6?

Ha, thx for sure man - I noticed MOPS helped a few guys with nearly the same exact install right after I posted that setup... definitely flattered ;)

I need to check the camber settings... I could be wrong. Gotta find the paperwork from the install.

The Official Q5/SQ5 Wheel Thread - Post your setup!

I’m pleased to inform the group, with the help from Mops, I GOT NEW RIMS and TIRES!

I like the OEM look, so I bought the Hartmann’s 20 inch by 9. These are ET29’s. I had the guys install the Michelin 265/45/20 Sport A/S 3+

I just wanna say thanks for Mops for taking the time to answer my questions and being patient with my choice.

Mops, we did forget 1 thing, the plastic caps that go over the lug nuts, though I’m picking some up from the dealership tomorrow, lol.

I just wanna say thanks for Mops for taking the time to answer my questions and being patient with my choice.

Mops, we did forget 1 thing, the plastic caps that go over the lug nuts, though I’m picking some up from the dealership tomorrow, lol.

    Thanks Mops and scottst!

Yes, for me, this setup fits the stock height perfectly.

That last pic with the car lifted seems like stock height to me when I look back at my old pics vs lowered with coilovers. Once I lowered it, I look back at my stock setup with a grin.

What is this exact wheel size if you don’t mind me asking? Looking to potentially get the same wheels or the Bixton RF 10’s and I love the way this look, thanks!

Looks great! Nice improvement from the OEMs... I’ve always liked that style of wheels... I had that style in an OEM-look from Alzor (I think ) on my B8 A4 before I made the daddy-car jump to the Q platform.

Mops talk you into a mild suspension drop yet?

Looks great buddy!! I love how the V-FF 105 looks aggressive and also a bit OEM too. And wow - those B9 S brakes. 👏🏼

How hard was the B9 brake swap? I'd love to do something similar! I've seen a couple DIYs on the S4 threads.

    Got 'er done.

I know a guy at my neighborhood Discount Tire and somehow he was able to hook me up quicker than I expected. (Sounds like BBS is out of stock for a while.)

For the record, BBS CH 20x10.5 ET25. Tires are Continental Extreme Contact DWS 295/40-20's.

    ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE LOOK.

Thanks to turtleteeth and scottst for the inspiration (and mops for info/advice).

Any reason to hang on to the stock 21's? (I'll probably put out a feeler. P-Zero tread still has 7/32s left. Do NOT wanna ship these.)
