$425 total. Just drove it there and picked it up in the afternoon. They do a lot of factory wheels.

Vorsteiner wheels 20x9.5 275/45/20, 5mm spacers in front and 8mm spacers in back.

Now you have me questioning 285/40 or 275/45’s
I have 275/40’s now and want to go bigger.
Would you mind posting a picture of the clearance to the knuckle?
I have the same wheels. 12.5 spacers.
The 275/45’s have a higher load rating so I would think slightly stiffer, but might feel the same with the slightly taller sidewall.

There actually is a 4S and PSS in 265/35/22. And as much as I like a meatier sidewall, the 40 series tires on a 22" simply will not fit. There is not enough clearance on the suspension side. Trust me... I've done this dance myself, and with a few others, too. It's 265/35 or nada.

I'm certain. I've done two 22" setups, and it's nearly as tight. I actually took pics of my current setup (21x10 on 295/35) this week and I only have about 3mm on the suspension side. At best, that is 2mm more than the same setup on a B8. No matter, a 255/40/22 is way too tall at nearly 4.5% larger than stock. So they'd for sure rub up front. Unless you want hella maxi uber super duper poke. 22's are tough.... it's 265/35 or 295/30.

I am running 285/25/22s right now and I literally have 2" of space between suspension and brakes.. My sidewalls are literally rubber bands.. But I can't imagine in my head where that gap gets closed..

265/35 would be a good size. They're honestly not very thin on a 9-9.5. Here is 255/35/22 on 22x9.5 -







With 22" that is key. Run a 9-9.5 and 265/35 and you'll have a nice sidewall. Even 22x10 on 265/35 looks okay -





As you can see, 10" is where they start to look a bit thin.

Geez, I had 255/35 listed above, and meant 265/35. Looks like there are now some 275/35 options, and those are only ~2% larger than stock. That would look pretty great and could fit.

Here is 21x10 ET30 on 295/35, which is 0.3% larger than stock -



285/35/22 is 3% larger than stock.

Sean I cannot think of a single person that has run that tire spec on 21x10.5. J-Dog runs 265/40/21 but on 21x9.5 and I ran them on 21x9.

I've already got 22x10 et 40 with 10mm spacers on right now..

"Problem" is - I'm running 285/25/22's currently (lol) and I need to swap them out.. I just want to get it "right" and maximize the tire... The 275/35 sounds awesome but I'm not in a position to swap tires on repeat like others.. What to do, what to do.... :-)

Changing the look/game on my B9 -- back to my roots.. Stunt 101 > boy racer. Bout to ball out.

Very nice, Sasquatch. For my black B8.5 I've wanted to run Vorsteiner's VFF 102 in brilliant silver finish but they stopped selling them in Q5 fitment. Your BC Forged are similar but I like them even more and that finish is perfect against a grey or black car.

What size/spec did you go with? I know the fitment on a B9 is a bit different from an 8.5... curious how much concavity I could fit on something like 20x10.5 et25

I'm still in the market for winter wheels and waiting for black friday hoping to find something. If I don't, maybe I'll put the winter tires on my CH-Rs and would then have some low mileage 20" Conti 295's to throw on a set of these BC Forged. When I make up my mind you'll be the first to hear about it.

Curious how the installer didn't put the right caps on? Wouldn't there only be one style cap?
Anyways save yourself some money on a winter set and buy a vinyl decal to put over the Hartmann cap. On my old Alzor winter set I measured the circumference of the cap and bought vinyl circular decals with the Audi logo in the middle. Looked very OEM on a budget.

It comes packaged with both the Hartmann caps AND the Audi caps (which are optional). I will prob be selling the OEM Audi caps as they are too light (light grey with chrome).

This is probably square peg/round hole, but still looking for feedback. I REALLY love my BC Forged, and would love to reuse them on my wife's B9 SQ5. Problem is that they are 10.5" wide, and ET27, which is a no-go with 295s on the B9 in terms of poke. I also don't want to run 275/40, as she drives around in Auto most of the time (air suspension), so I don't want to lose that sidewall height and increase gap. Leaves me with 2 options as I see it: 265/45/20 DWS06 I think this is the best option, but I worry that it will look too stretched. I've seen 265 on a 10" wheel, and it was totally passable, but worry 10.5 might be too much. 2nd option is 285/40/20. I worry this still might poke too much, plus tire options are limited. There are a couple new options in that size (Conti Procontact RX), but that could be a lame tire, and the very few reviews that are out there aren't great. Also the new Nitto NT420V. No real reviews or anything on that, but better looking tread pattern than the tire it replaces. Maybe I just have to accept that I have to be done with the BCs, but that's a bitter pill.
