Grease for half shafts and driveshaft?

Going to be putting the engine back in the car soon, and want to make sure there is enough grease in these joints.
How much should there be and what kind can I get at Lowe's/HD that will do the job?

you need high temperature CV joint grease. You won't find that and lowes or HD but you might find something at autozone/ local auto stores.

    http://www.autozone.com/autozone/acc...mString=search

You don't have to fill the cup on the trans flange completly, but I make sure there's a 'generous' helping in there so the stuff doesn't all fling out from the joint and dry it up .

    Dont be a grease weenie
Any nasty black grease that says extreme pressure and has moly and graphite in it will be just fine.
There are only 2 things needed to make an Audi work properly - Duct tape and WD40. If it moves and it shouldn't - Duct tape. If it doesn’t move and it should - WD40.
