lots of stretch with a 225 on a 9 inch wheels. 255/65 would be considered square.

i would barely call that a stretch..

also, S drives run wide so you should be fine, it will be beefier than that
Modifications: Parents ran out of money so they bought me tires that were way too small for my wheels.

alex, what i think you meant to write was a 255 or 265 is considered square on a 9" wheel..

i believe the misunderstanding came from the "/65" after the 255 because that's where the side wall series thickness is labeled, lol ex: 255/30-20

    capisci?

not really. which is probably why me and the other guy thought you were talking about a 65 sidewall

it was a typo, but you know very well I am informed enough to know that 65 sidewall is ludicrous.

people always assuming when it's unnecessary and never when it is, on these forums

yah i thought you were talking about a 65 profile not 265. when i see 255/65 20 i think of the complete detail on the wheel not what you meant.

that is practically the best option among the available tires where I live.

255/30/20 which will be the best fit is not available, will have to import it and is like 2x more expensive.

    thanks for replies.
