    Hey guys,

So the other day I had posted about my fuel pump being noisy and you guys suggested me to change my fuel filter first to be safe. Well I changed my fuel filter and my pump is as happy as it can be. I would of never thought that this could of been this issue. Only took me 45 minutes to change it! saved me from buying a pump..

I would just like to thank you guys for the help!

    Much appreciated!

I had a weird noise on startup not too long ago, my first thought was to check the fuel pump. A couple days later, the problem is just gone. My car is a better mechanic than I am

I have a humming noise coming from my fuel pump area even after changing my fuel pump and filter. I took it to a well respected audi/vw Indy shop before getting a tune and asked about the noise. I was told that after time, the fuel pump housing could make contact with the gas tank which could explain the noise, and the only solution for the noise would be a new gas tank. I'm not sure if this is true or not, but it seems to make sense.
