H7 to H11 Conversion?

Hello,

I have a Morimoto HID kit that is not working on my A4 without the Christmas lights. Have tried every idea that I can find without resolution. Here is the link to that thread: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...ed-some-light!

So I've decided, perhaps I should put them to use as my fog lights. But the fog lamps are H11 and not H7 (as my kit). My question is, how can I safely convert H7 adapter to make it work with the H11. Will there be any issues, such as voltage difference, etc.? Also, would I still get the Christmas lights if they are fogs and not low beam, or does this issue remain regardless of which light it is install as?

1. Buy h11 plugs from eBay or where ever. Should be the h11 plug and then two wires.

2. Cut your h7 plugs off. Your ballasts or harness. Wire in the h11 ones.

3. Buy h11 bulbs and use.

No difference. Just make sure you buy h11 hugs to match your ballast wattage and connectors amp/d2s

Can I not use the bulbs that came with my H7 kit?

Sorry meant bulbs not hugs. And h7 bulbs won't fit in love of h11 in the fogs. It won't seat right or plug into the harness. The bases of the bulbs are different
