    wheel torque specs?

    Yes I searched, but couldn't find the information... What are the wheel torque specs for the 19" peelers?
    Sorry for newbie questions, this is my 1st Audi
    Current: Phantom Black '2011 S4 S-Tronic Premium Plus, Sports Rear Diff, JL Audio subwoofer upgrade, Milltek Resonated Exhaust
    Old cars:
    Evo X MR-Touring stock, but tuned by RRE: 290whp, 313 lbs/torque @ 24psi 91 octane
    Evo IX tuned by RRE: 383whp, 383 lbs/torque @ 28psi E85 ethanol fuel

    I think it is 79 ft/lbs. but I do 90.

    89 Ft Lbs is the spec.

    You wont hurt anything doing 100lbs as long as you use anti seize

    It's at the back of the manual in the tire section. 90 +/- 10 ft lbs if I remember correctly.

    Can't go wrong with a torque wrench set to 90. Drive it then check them again.

    90 lbs it is. Should be a piece of cake compared to my friend's 911 GT3 who's centerlock wheels need 400 lbs torque

    Does he use a fencepost as his wrench handle?

    edit, apparently you use a geared and braced torque multiplier as seen here in combination with a standard heavy duty torque wrench. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GzpTU7lBxBA

    I had wondered too. Earlier post I saw this week on stretch bolts gave torque specs for lug bolts as 90 lb ft.
    Current- 2024 Daytona Grey Black Optics SQ5 Prestige, Sport pkg, sport exhaust, 21" wheels, 034 sway bars
    Previous- 2018 Daytona Grey Prestige, 21" wheels
    2014 S4 Monsoon Grey, Premium, Black Optics, sport diff, black napa, B&O, Nav, Alu Kreuz, Michelin AS3s, tint, Eurocode intake
    2010 S4 Ibis White
    2002 TT 225, Aviator Grey, lots of mods
