    Source for body parts?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Got the quote to touch up my new-to-me A4... Suffice to say, I choked. I could teach myself how to paint/bondo for what they wanted to charge me. I've also decided that, since I'm on a budget, I might as well see if there is anywhere that retails gently used but good condition OEM-painted body parts. Any Ebay sellers or junkyards that specialize in Audis would be perfect. As a last resort, I could post a wanted ad up here and hope for the best, but I'm in the situation where cash comes and goes, so I'd rather not waste any of our good members' time. Thank you in advance!

besides self service lkq(probably wont find anything newer then b5) lkq is kinda pricey imo. car-parts or ebay will be your best source probably.

I got my b6 hood (new primered) and lock carrier (new) from keystone (LKQ) for 150 and 115 respectively. I work at a shop though. I got the rest of my parts on eBay/amazon; hood latch, fans, radiator, condenser.

Stick with OEM parts. You'll regret it if you buy aftermarket parts and the fitment isn't on par. What parts are you looking for? Someone here might have something and you're better off specifying which part of USA you're at so locals can chime in.

Thanks for the replies. I'm looking for:
    Driver's side rear door shell
    Passenger side quarter panel

in Brilliant Black. I'm located in Wisconsin. I'll check out the regional forum and poke around in there, see what I can find. Thanks for the recommendations!

I'm mildly confused by your comment. Not sure if it's just a friendly post, or if snark is your default setting. Regardless, it is what it is, and I'd like to save my cashmunnies for go-fast parts :)
