Dyno Tuning - Michigan, Ohio, Indiana?

There has to be a tuner within the boundaries of the above specified. I have contacted a couple AWD dyno shops around me, although they do not have experience tuning audis. I have a baseline e85 flash from Jfonz that doesn't seem to be living up to it's claims. I'm really looking for a dyno tuner within a semi-reasonable distance from me that can adjust it. Where do you go?

I agree with you on this I want to go e85 after my turbo rebuild but I'd like to have a dyna tuner around

Maybe euro tech in holland MI. Friend took his supercharged vr6 there for some repairs, not 100% on the dyno but its worth calling.

I contacted them and they asked told them I needed my tune tweaked, and the guy asks what tuner. I say Jfonz and he replies with "I won't even touch that car. Oh I'm sure it needs tweaking, I'm suprised your motor hasn't blown up". Just a real dick. Could have simply said he can't do anything for me. Instead he had to bash on it as he saw the chance.

I contacted the guys in Holland and they do not have a dyno but pointed me towards Grand Rapids. So I will search up for a tuner in that area and post results.

There is AMS performance in West Chicago. I don't have any personal experience with them, but I heard they do remote tuning for EPL.

CPT has a great reputation, but I had the same experience as Traction when I called them about doing my timing belt...The guy was kind of a dick on the phone, so I took my business else where. Price was $1100 which I thought was a little steep considering I had all the parts.

There are plenty of Audi's here in the Midwest, I don't understand why no one has filled the need?

You guys probably spoke to Al, he owns CPT and does VERY good work (lots of porsches go there)... Before I turned my own wrenches CPT fixed my car a lot.

Al does incredible work he is pricey but uses only OEM parts and does an amazing job.

Well it looks like I may take a trip to Connecticut or Chicago after I rebuild my turbos do bigger injectors and fuel pump because I want to go e85 as well and would prefer it to be dyno tuned with my meth injection as well

If there are solutions a bit closer than CT, I'd prefer that because I am currently on a 7 day workweek schedule on top of 5 days of class. But as a contractor, that can end at any time and give me a weekend to make it out there. Thank you all for posting input and feedback. Hopefully this will help out not only myself! Don't go buying fueling hardware just yet...I believe EPL requires you to buy their stuff if you do go down that route. Correct me if I'm wrong Tony.

That is good to know I would have been quite upset if I drove out there and then had to buy their injectors and pump for an e85 tune lol thank you very much look forward to hear what tony has to say

I am already stage 2+ (20psi e85 tune, secondary Walbro 255 pump, 52lb bosch injectors, 1 step colder plugs for winter, 2 steps for summer). I really wouldn't mind swapping parts for a good tuner to get it up to where it should be. I believe I have a leaky injector or injectors anyway.

You live in metro Detroit and you are considering going out of state for a dyno? It's 2013, and most tubers can do so remotely, and there are a million dynos in our area.

If I can find one that knows audi well enough to dyno it then I will other than that yes I will travel to have it tuned properly

ANY dyno shop slightly competent can dyno your car. It doesn't take anything special for an audi. If you mean tuning, then he is talking about remote tuning with numerous tuners that will do so.
