FS: NT01 235/40-18 track tires (BBS CH 18x8.5" ET35 wheels have been sold)

I’m selling a set of four BBS CH bright silver wheels size 18x8.5” with ET35 with bolt pattern 5x112 with Nitto NT01 tires sized 235/40-18. I bought the wheels from Tire Rack in June 2007 and used them for a total of 16 weekends on the local race tracks (Infineon, Thunderhill, and Laguna Seca). I bought the Nitto NT01 tires in Sept 2008, and used them for a total of 9 track days. I don’t have a tread depth tool, but it looks like the tires have approx 3/32-4/32” left on them, so with the starting depth being 6/32”, you can see that I really wasn’t driving these too hard on the track.

The wheels are basically perfect – no bends, cracks, or road rash, but they may have a few tiny divots where dust/rocks might have hit the painted surface. The wheels and tires have never been driven on the street, and during my track sessions, I never went off track. I’ve stored the wheels and tires inside black trash bags at low pressure (10-15 psig) after I last used them in Oct 2010, so the tires are pretty old.

I paid $451 per wheel back in 2007, but Tire Rack is now charging $510 per wheel per http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...All&sort=Brand. The N235/40-18 NT01 tires cost around $225 new right now. The wheels have BBS center caps, metal hubcentric rings (57.1mm), and BBS valve caps.

For a B5 S4, these wheels will clear 355mm (14”) 4 piston Brembos without any spacer, but the front fenders will need to be rolled/pulled for clearance.

I’m asking $1900 for the wheels and tires. I’m located in Sunnyvale, CA 94087. I’d prefer local pickup. - Jim

Beautiful wheels. Are you willing to sell rims separate? If so, how much?

I am hoping to sell the wheels and tires together. If I don't get enough interest, then I'll consider selling them separately. - Jim

I'm reducing my asking price for the wheels and tires to $1800, or $1600 for just the wheels. - Jim

Thanks Max. I just sold the wheels locally, so now, the tires by themselves are for sale. I'll try to take a few more pictures of the tires. - Jim

235/40-18 NT01 track tires now for sale

I sold the BBS wheels, so now have just the NT01 track tires left for sale. Details below...

I'm selling a set of Nitto NT01 tires sized 235/40-18. I bought the Nitto NT01 tires in Sept 2008, and used them for a total of 9 track days. I don't have a tread depth tool, but it looks like the tires have approx 3/32" left on them, so with the starting depth being 6/32", you can see that I really wasn't driving these too hard on the track.

I've stored the wheels and tires inside black trash bags at low pressure (10-15 psig) after I last used them in Oct 2010, so the tires are fairly old. The 235/40-18 NT01 tires cost around $225 new right now.

I'm asking $300 for the tires. I'm located in Sunnyvale, CA 94087. I'd prefer local pickup but could ship at buyer’s expense. - Jim

I'm lowering the price from $300 to $275. Someone must need some track tires for the upcoming events... - Jim
