wheel fitment question for my TTRS

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
So I'm finally ready for some wheels for my TTRS, and I have found the ones I want for sale. Problem is, they are 19x8.5 and et35 and I am not sure if they will fit without problems. Can anyone help?
    A3, RS5, TTRS, R8, SQ5, Q7....kind of addicted.

It'll be tight but might fit with the right tire. I ran 18x8 et35 with 245/40 and it would rub just slightly on the right rear under abrupt compression. a narrower or slightly less diameter tire will help but it will be very tight in the rear for sure.

No don't do it. You will have rubbing issues.
I had to get bigger wheels since the 18 inch oem wheels would not fit with my WV racing brake kit.
I had 19x9 ET45+ and had issues I say min you need 48+ like the BBS wheels.
I actually sold my aftermarket rims and bought factory 19 inches.

I just got 18 x 8 Winter wheels and snowtires. Now I'm noticing the same rubbing issue that you describe in your reply. I need to fix this, please help.

I personally went with factory which I think it is 52 offset. I have coilovers and set in track configuration and no rubbing.
I would at least get 48mm offset. 19x8.5 would be the best fit. Also I would not go wider then 255 on tires.

CH-R BBS is good if you want after market.

I have 255/35-19 on 19x9.5+40 on my mk2 TT. No rubbing on MSS kit following alignment to -2.0 all around, fender screw in front and ground rear metal tab. Only reason I don't rub is because I have conti dw. Pilot Super sports in the same size would rub.

Great news!! This is the same set up I plan to run. Hope 255 RE-11s don't poke too much extra. Maybe I'll puss out and only go 245....

I have read else where to grind the inner fender grommets too.

The BBS CH-R wheels are what I am looking at buying right now. I am trying to find out if anyone has them on a 2012 or 2013 TT-RS with the stock rubber. Hoping no fitment issues or rubbing! (19x9.5) 45 offset
