    brake bleeders-what size wrench do I need?

    Yeah, it should be 11mm. I bought a flare nut wrench, it was both 9mm and 11mm. Definitely buy one, you don't want to strip those bleeder screws.

    From what I've seen, unless you're the original owner, you never know what you'll fond with older cars. Rebuilt calipers, speed bleeders, replacement aftermarket bleeder screws. I have a sears craftsman metric set that has the whole range of flare nut wrenches that I've had for years - they've all come in handy at one time or another. I don't think it was terribly expensive.
