    S4 Indoor Cover

I don't plan on running my 2013 S4 in the winter or at least once the salt hit the road. So I have been looking for a indoot cover while it sits in my garage. The Audi one is expensive at List $477.00! Anyone have one?

Don't have one. It certainly looks nice enough but not a great value for an indoor cover. Check out Covercraft covers at a place like http://www.autoanything.com/shop/Covercraft and see if you like any of them.

If you're going to spend that much money, why not get one that's outdoor too, that way if you ever need to use it outdoors, you can.

I saw this in the accesories catalog they sent to me in the mail a few days ago. It looked really nice and was possibly considering it but now I see it's really expensive. I drive my car and wash it enough where I'm not worried about it being in the garage uncovered.

Thats to bad, driving my S4 in the winter is by far WAY funner than driving it in the summer in the dry. You're truly missing out on what this car is built for. Best times I've ever had in the car are with snow tires on bombing the snowy/salty streets.

if its going to be indoors, i wouldn't cover it... just top off all the fluids and give it a good wax job...

I don't care for the oem one at all. I sold mine a day later. Pick up a Dustop cover.

I use one for my old 2001 Accord - it works great. A bit tight at the lower front bumper and over the side mirrors, but no complaints here. Bottom line: If you aren't sold on only an Audi one, others may work...

For sure. The oem one does not feel good at all, and its tight fuk. A nice fit looks cool, but that thing made my bumpers creak.

you guys serious? you really gonna park your S4 all winter long cause your scared of the road salt? I think you should park it during the summer too, cause the sun's uv ray might hurt the paint and cause the dash to fade.. SMH.... Dont drive it at night, the car might catch a cold.. Cmon dude, its a car, a freeking $50k Audi not a $300k Ferrari. lol

Yeah, but you're in the company of people who can afford a $50k Audi, not a $300k Ferrari.
Over on the Ferrari forums there's probably someone saying "dude, it's a $300k Ferrari, not a $2.5M Koenigsegg".

If it were me, and I knew I wasnt going to drive it for probably 4 months (Nov- Feb), I would trickle charge, use a fuel stabilizer, and make sure I had a breathable water resistant cover. It would be pretty bad for that thing to sit all winter trapping moisture on the car. I would also make sure I move the car around on the wheels once a week to not flat spot. Id probably change the oil before start up as well....is it all necessary? No, its not. Is some OCD? Yes it is....but youre storing in the winter because you love your car enough to attempt to preserve it for as many years as possible. My car is fun in the winter but I would store it for those 4 months in a heartbeat if I had a daily drive other than the s4.

Yes, seriously. Except I prefer ice over slush. It's what Quattro is for.

Plus its an S4 not a 458. Drive your car and enjoy it.

The talk about it's just and Audi, not some exotic is super annoying. That argument is retarded. In my case, I cannot help the cars I have chosen to drive over the past 12 years, happen to be Audi's with quattro. The fact I choose not to drive them in the winter, does not mean I feel the cars are too special etc to get nasty and trashed. I like to keep mine very clean. Hell, I try and not drive my 5 in the rain. Nothing about the way I setup cars makes them suitable for foul weather. The Subaru is the obvious choice, even the GTI.

Weather Tech has decent covers with different colors. I'm impressed with the rest of their products so will assume the car covers are quality also.

there are MUCH better indoor dust covers that the audi/oem cover. I use a multi layer dust cover for my z28.

    http://www.covercraft.com/carcovers/dustop.html

This cover is amazing and extremely soft on the paint surfaces.
